a house made of bricks sat lonely on an otherwise deserted street. no one went in. no one came out. the brick house was dying because no life sustained it. it’s a known fact that all houses need life inside then to keep them living too. it had been a lot of years since children played in the front yard.

bricks make up houses, like the one I’m in right now. Kevin Drew. . I want kids with safety bricks. . that’s a lyric from a pretty good song. I remember he came to Boston with broken social scene but I didn’t really like them then but now I wish I had gone.

follow the yellow brick road, follow the yellow brick road. That is what she told me when she abandoned me there. I didn’t see any yellow bricks, but I followed the brick road nonetheless. I imagined in my mind that they were yellow, that I was following some path…some path she would want me to go on, but really I was following my own way.

They stand in rows, red organge, all aglow with sparkles like granite. Maybe they are granite. Anyway, tehy hold up buldings, create walls whethere they want to be built or not, like the berlin wall but much more pleasant to the eyes.

He is built like a brick. My husband likes to say it about our son and it’s pretty much true — solid, heavy. Not soft or round but square and strong.
However, inside the brick is a very soft center. I think my husband knows that, too. I hope so.
It is red. And strong, staying strong. Combined it prevents dreams. But bricks crumble when humanity unites. Bricks are not stronger than people.

i wish i had a brick house. one sturdy brick house, where no bad man can break in a beat the shit out of me. one sturdy brick house. safety.

there was a brick wall. he pushed me into it and put his arms over me on the brick. he kissed me passionately and i was not expecting this kind of thing from him. he’s just not the kind of person to do this, but i kissed back.

like a brick can fall;
it bruise your flesh
or build you up like a wall.
like a blade of grass can dance;
it can comfort you
or prick you, given the chance.
and to be weary is to be wise;
it can be a breath of fresh air
or bring you to a demise.

The brick landed suddenly by my feet. I looked up, and there stood a man gazing down at me. When he notice me glancing at him, he shut the window and I couldn’t see him anymore. What gave him the right to throw bricks at people. Sure, I was Immortal, but what did that have to do with anything.

the sides of a building, so heavy so red drenched in the blood of its builders, its building. where from, this brick? where to? only up, but sideways, always. it’s ugly but it’s beautiful so precise and mechanically

One day, I saw a brick on the ground.
I didn’t believe what I saw. That brick was part of a castle that no one had ever seen.
“It could be long to my mom” I said, out loud, becasue it had a mark

I use to live in a brick house. Of course, back in my hometown of Fayetteville, North Carolina thats all there is. Well that and trailers. There are only ranch style brick homes ranging in different sizes and price ranges. There are very few wooden houses left and the ones that are now are falling. I hope to never go back to north Carolina because it sucks.

The red balance of calamity and security tightly bound itself around my arms and legs. I lay there, wondering where this all began, how it started. But more concerned of how it will end. With a person’s mind enveloped in this colossal elapse of time, drowned in existence, I find myself curious.

red bricks showing in the sunlight the cracks of their age. green moss bright against the red bricks, dust piling underneath. rolly pollys climb on the red bricks. the sun brings the scent to the tip of my nose. dust. light. red glow. warm bricks.

It’s a brick like you build a house with and you need a lot of them for a house or a building an apartment building with bricks streaked with soot and sweat and blood and raindrops streaked with soot and rain brown red bricks made from clay baked in the heat of a Mexican sun and streaked by the city in which they build

It was solid, heavy and dark and sat there looking like it would never move. I don’t suppose the thought of movement had ever even ocured to the person approaching it. Yet, there was the moment when he picked it up and placed it on the wall. Suddenly, it seemed to belong. I marvelled at how readily it had adapted to it’s new location and state of being. Yet, I suppose in retrospect, nothing had really changed at all.

brick is a word that reminds me of walls but walls in a good way, walls of home, shelter that keeps you away from the cold and wind, and others cnt see you through the walls, it makes me think about home that is far away. also bricks make walls that divide ppl that make people separated, sometime walls split families, sometimes ppl build walls because they are afraid, bricks. we are all bricks like they sing in the songs, and we are all the bricks, as we are causing the walls to rise we build the walls by our own actions we are the bricks and we put ourselves between something and that happens all the time. do you feel the same?

Give me a brick and I’ll build you a home.
Give me a brick and I’ll tear it all down
Give me brick and I’ll block out the light
Give me a brick and I’ll make it all right.
It’s just a brick. What’s your choice?

She passed through the dark alley. Amber streetlights were before her. She guided her hands along the dark red bricks, covered with graffiti and crude symbols. She heard a noise behind her and whirled around. Someone was behind her.

i was building a house when i realised my bricks were not bricks but clouds. you cannot build a house of clouds. you can only build your dreams from clouds.

the house was cold and hollow, brick on the outside and brick on the inside. As unloving as it all was, the brick was all I ever knew growing up, and I came to love the solitude it provided me; it shielded me from the world.

Brick wall pink floyd. Brick is the colour of the mountains behind the house which are nothing but dirt and the reason they exist is to block the wind from our city. The logic of a small child resurfaces now at the age of twenty but I cannot repress it.
Josh Matheson
Bricks are like the foundations of every building. Unless you go green, then you’d use like cane or something, right? Damn it’s late, and like I told Sydney, I haven’t had my juice. Crankiness never makes for a good companion. Coffee chases it away, but never very well. Then those short damn naps just make everything worse.
