i am sick of writing about bricks. i’d like a new word, please. brick inspires nothing in the writer, it makes me hit a wall.
i envision a brick in my mind and i get stuck. and, let me tell you, from past experience, getting stuck is never a good way to be. you dwell and dwell on something until it makes your stomach turn and your mind race and your heart ache and your mouth close. stuck in a moment that is full of impossibilities.
so…please? a new word?
just me today

I have a brick here, It’s been laid in the foundations, it’s red all over and I know it’s been places I haven’t. Given the time it’s taken to bring this brick here, to this place I am now, I don’t think much of how I live and work. It seems kind of trifling compared to the weight this thing has shouldered over the years and I can only hope to match it, maybe one day.
Dan Girmus
Red and coarse the brick that held the building together as one.. The cornerstone, the brick that made the building whole.. it just sat there.. waiting for milennia holding it’s duty aloft. many men have passed through the walls it supports.. many thoughts ideas wonders performed… all thanks to the brick and its brick layer.

along came a spider and stood at the edge of a brick. as he surveyed the brick, he noticed the smoothness and roughness between his toes. The spider enjoyed the damp feeling on the brick, and felt happy that he had chosen this brick to make his web. he smiled and thought to himself this brick will make an excellent home for me, and nest for my babies. I am happy about this brick, its awesome!

the brick house came tumbling down last night after the storm hit. every house on the block losst something, this house lost it all. if only they couldve been warned then maybe they couldve avoided the chaos.

The bumpy red of the brick made me think of that summer spent at a distant aunts house. The green ivy shimmied up the cold red bricks and seemed to be reaching into the windows. Trying to join us in our strange ways. It was my aunt who was strange really.

hard and low to the ground below every one haldly notices but is what keeps us standing sometimes. made of many thnings . it is clear that we take it for granted.

The brick is rectangular and dark red. It crumbles in my hand because it has weathered the storms of many years. I used to watch my brother smash tree frogs with bricks when I was very little. I laughed, but didn’t really think it was very funny. Bricks make a house, but not necessarily a home.

hello i just thought of the word justice. i don’t know why. thats just what comes to mind when i am under pressusre and the two words One world come up. wierd. i don’t know exactly what that means but i don’t think it has anything to do with my views i think i have.

i found the perfect brick in the tarnished wall by my house. i felt as if it was a magical brick that was some sort of a secret key. i felt as if there were a secret garden behind that brick. my very own secret garden. i attempted to unlock this key, but i could not begin to think of how to go about it.

bricks are what houses and buildings are made of. they are usually red and the best ones are really old ones. sometimes you can throw a brick at someone, like a mean person or a bully to help alleviate their attack or agression towrds you. and some derelicts throw bricks off overpasses at cars because they are morons. anyway i feel that time is runnibg out but how much more can i say about bricks i feel like there is no real 60 second limit built into this thing

He threw the brick through the window. The glass shattered into a myriad of color on the cold concrete at his feet. It glinted of the sun and into his eyes.
It took him a stretching second to realize something had to happen next. He couldn’t stand there dumbly. He had to leave. He had to run.
He had to hide.

She leaned against the brick wall, trying to catch her breath. The phone began to beep as it layed onthe floor. She tried to convince herslef it was a lie. BUt it was no use. It was true, he was dead. She sunk to the floor, head in her hands, and sobbed. For how long she did not know but when she awoke from her trance the sky was dark and her eyes heavy as the bricks she leaned against.

The red of bricks is stunning during the Magic Hour, sunset. The life gives them a new texture, vitality, almost an organic quality.
I like the idea of clay bricks, scooped out from the earth and ready to use for building.

brick is in a house… a brick is red, i don’t like the birkcs because they can hit your face and will be really harmful but if a hate someone that much i will hit him or her with a brick. When a house is destroyed many bricks will break down into many pieces. i like bricks but i haven’t taste them, that may be fun.

Some miserable band wrote a song about a brick. I’ve seen bricks thrown at people, ugly people throw them and smelly people or people they’re threatened by. Some bricks at in houses too. Although some houses are made with straw.

Bricks are used to build houses, break windows or deliver hate messages to unwanted people. It is also used as a comparison for hardness or weight.

a brick means a closed off wall. I can be a brick in a closed off wall, but I would rather be a door–a door leading people in and through to freedom. I want to take down the bricks and build little white picket fences. They still let people come in, but they are friendly and neat and welcoming.
lydia
The bricks were placed with morter as the new homeowners looked on. Excited about the prospects of their new life. The bricks represented the life they were ment to lead and the solidity their lives would come to know.

Like a ton of bricks. That’s how his idea hit me. He wanted to go to the movies and maybe have dinner afterward. Any other time that’d be fine.
But we were supposed to visit my parents. Yeah, yeah, I know he hates them but just one time I’d like to go without an argument!
On the other hand, the movie is a good one!

He picked up the brick like it was any old thing he’d usually stoop to include in his collection of variables. A compulsive hoarder, this would go very well with the slats of plywood which he took from the other construction site down the road the other day.

they have a funny smell, think it must be the cement or something. Some smell new and almost plasticky, some smell old and musty like soil or moss. Somr are nice, especially the ones with dents in so you can plant something small in them like parsley or cress.
