  9. is a building material, supposedly strong, sturday, but I happen to know that bricks break easily when water gets into them. They crumble when left in the ground, or pushed aside by plants. But they hold heat, bring warmth, add comfort, have a beautiful color (especially used brick) and have texture, context. A beautiful building material — but then I come from a family of architect and builders

  38. Bricks are so beautiful – the colour reminds me the mothers earth. I love to wear brick red clothes. Recently I have seen some homes with bricks in different colours – and there is no need to paint the bricks – they themselves look magnificient with their design. The home looks very different with the bricks design – the way they manufactures bricks I have seen them once back home in India – how they make them with mud and burn them so that they become very strong – it reminds me the steps we take one by by one to organize the things and the structure .
Another thing I remember about brick is how Sai Baba used to keep a brick close to him – he said that is his guru and one day went tatya or some one broke that he started crying – it is relly interesting for me. With out bricks we cna not build our homes – so they play a very significant role in construction and to amnifest all our dreams of having our own homes.
