    I also have a stack of bricks in my backyard. They look very old.

  2. She’s a brick house. I love that song so much, but it’s a shame I only hear it at weddings; it’s too old fashioned for “hip” dance scenes like prom and such. I wonder if the brick house woman has a sister made or sticks, and perhaps another made of hay. I’ll get to the bottom of this!

  20. It landed at my feet, and I wondered what I was supposed to do with it. One brick is not good for much. Perhaps I could turn my purse into a weapon, but why would I want to do that? I couldn’t rebuild my home with this one brick. Yet, that was all that was left of the wall that once given me shade… One natural disaster and it was all gone.

  30. There are few things less interesting than a brick, but the intricacy of the combination of its construction is fascinating in a strange way. The use of conjoined blocks between cement to create a sturdy surface or wall is some of the strongest there is.

About as subtle as a brick she was, babbling on about how he was my new boy toy right in front of him when we were just in the feeling each other out stages, the getting to know you, I like you do you like me stages. Cartoons have had bricks hitting people in the head for ages. heck the other night, I watched a Popeye cartoon where he tied a puppy to a brick. It was kinda weird, but funny at the same time.
