The bulb glowed with immense light as it was turned on and subsequently shattered by Damon’s sudden movement. As he lay back in bed he wondered why it had come to this.   4. this could be two things in my mind (haha lit the old lightbulb above my head) either a lightbulb or a plant bulb. which makes me think of vegetables for some reason and now I am hungry. this is interesting how one word can spark the idea in my head to eat vegetables! Also makes me want to get back to writing.

  5. i used to help my Dad plant bulbs in his garden when i was a boy. He was very proud of his garden and he and it were solely responsible for the fact that for about 15 years my mother never bought a single vegetable, Dad grew them all.

I’ve never been one for gardening. when I think about it I start to get anxiety because I feel that with gardening there is too much to take care of. bulbs to me seem the pinnacle of gardening, what time they go in, the way they go in, where they go in. even writing this i get anxiety over it.
