its fall here in the Midwest and we’re planting so many bulbs to brighter the spring when it finally comes again…every color and then some, it makes the waiting of winter so much easier to do

light bulb. they have those new ones that are supposed to save energy. I don’t really like them. we have some, but they don’t seem to give off as much light as normal light bulbs. it always seems dim in the room now. oh well, i guess we are saving the planet.

its something you plant in the ground. it makes pretty flowers. my mother likes to plant flowers. she makes very pretty arangements in our front yard. i help her some years. i miss my mom and her flowers. i miss the big rocks in front of our house that i used to climb on and play on in my youth. i miss the comforts that seeing them brings. i miss my car that i park near the rocks and the boys down the street that i played with. i love college but i miss home.

Since we are visual people, we usually tend to define our world by what we can see and sight is often the most tangible of the senses to us. The bulb of a flower is a small thing which contains the potential for life, for beauty, The destiny of the little bulb is to provide beauty, and thus it is a great metaphor for a life. The bulb of the flower holds the potential, how the flower is raised and how it is grown determines whether the flower will eventually fulfill this role or not. It’s like a tender life, imagine a baby in a womb, helpless, and small, it is yet unborn and being unborn, it’s potential is not yet known. Whether or not this baby grows to understand his or her potential depends on how it is raised, if it is cared for and nurtured as it should be, it has a better chance of surviving and becoming the object of beauty that it was originally intended to be.

There is a bulb in my home that needs to be replaced. The problem I have with it is that it is never there when I need it to be. I have had to install other bulbs in the home to compensate for this bulb’s lack of integrity. For this reason, all my money has been poured into lighting…and now I have nothing to light.

I wanted to get it off my foot so badly. It got bigger and bigger, but it wouldn’t pop. Turned out to be a wart. We tried topical medicine, but it wasn’t enough. So I wore a small patch on top of my pinkie toe that ate all the flesh around the wart. So finally, after a week, it was cut off

The flowers would not be as beautiful if they did not whither and die. They are fragile and inconsequential and that is why we look at them and sigh happily and write poetry and give them to lovers who will hopefully last longer.

The light bulb glowed with a light of its own. The bulb was positioned just so the sun bounced off the bulb creating a rainbow of light, that highlighted the lone desk in the room, a small piece of paper sitting on the desk, with a single word at the top.
