  1. The light bulb was cracked. I had to change it, but I didn’t have a ladder to reach it. So I looked around in the dark closest. I could barely move any of the items around – the closet was so small. Yet incredibly tall. After a while I gave up. Shut the closet door and wish I knew how many Andrew’s it takes to change a light bulb.

  2. The light bulb was flickering above his head, but he didn’t care. He just stared at the floor, unable to think. Had this… really happened? Was he truly alone? The bulb over head flickered occasionally, acting like a ticking clock. Looking up at in almost fear, he prayed that it wouldn’t die.

When it did, he knew it was over. His chance was over and gone… just like that light bulb.

  3. There’s always one bulb that is burnt out on each floor of this house. I’ve been too lazy to go out and actually purchase more, so I just keep shuffling the good bulbs around to illuminate my current areas of use here. I usually can’t remember the bulbs until it’s too dark anyway, so I sit in the dark and suffer as my creativity turns to net surfing and I go to bed early a lot.

  5. When I watch cartoons and I always see the light bulb light up over the characters head when he/she gets a bright idea, I always have to ask myself, why does it show that? I mean, when I always get a “bright idea” it’s more like a huge explosion is going off in my brain. I get a headache, start to drool a little, and then my eyes start burning. Or maybe I’m confusing that with watching porn.
