  1. Cards, of life, random, take a pick, whether drinking or eating, the card may have relevance to chance you take in waking up daily. Don’t fret about the jokers, they usually get removed from standardized decks, but if they show up, laugh at them, and take another drink. Sit in a circle with cards, and take turns pulling, give each a meaning, all it takes is one, a king a queen an ace. Live

  2. Who would have though that just one card could make me feel happy. It wasn’t even addressed to me or meant for me in the first place. I found it on the ground in front of a run down apartment. 8. “It puts these in a new light, doesn’t it?” Rose says lightly, dealing them out.

And so the four of them spend their last hours playing Go Fish. Jade wonders whether they’re going to make it after all–whether they might not be making a huge mistake, meddling with the fabric of space-time for a few cantankerous aliens from another universe–but she /can’t/ him there if he might be alive, and besides, they don’t have a choice anymore, do they?

  9. Cards. There’s 52. Pick em’ up when you drop them. They’re meant to be fun, but they just get annoying. The possibilities are endless. Go fish, solitare: you can keep yourself entertained for hours, so hell why not? I do
