  5. Cards can create a variety of emotions. Some give greetings, others condolences, and yet others millions of dollars. Cards have been around through the ages. Mostly to occupy time with others company , you can use cards to play games. Some like to buy them to show feeling but I disagree with the idea of the sentiment.

Just as she opened her locker, confetti popped out at her and when she opened her eyes she found a card sitting inside, daring her to open it. 14. i love cards they are fun to play with but they arent usually the best thing since they can become extremely boring unless you’re a magician or maybe a solitaire fiend because generally people require more movement and sounds and lights because we as a people today have such a shortened attention span that cards can’t usually contain our attention for too long

  31. Cards are an interesting subject. You see, the word alone represents different images in the minds of individual recipients. For instance, one might conjure up the image of playing cards. For others, its the rich colors of a Tarot deck. Others, perhaps, may see the crisp blue lines of an index card, filled to the brim with notes in a small, tight scrawl.

    Tim Adams
  32. It seemed the cards had treated me right for once. After all I’d been through and everything I’d done, I was finally being rewarded for my efforts. I could finally do something without having to put everyone else first; I could do something for me. I laughed a little to myself, looking at myself in the mirror. This was going to be great. Nothing could ruin my day now, not after I’d found out what he’d told me.

  38. the deck of cards flipping through his hands. pick a card he said, staring into my eyes. for a moment, i froze, and i looked down at his hands, his dark hands that were nimble, i pulled one slowly. he showed it to everyone. jack of spades. he had me rip it in half, in fourths, in eighths, and put them in the palm of my hands. rub them he said, and i couldn’t help but obey. and heat sweltered through my fingers, and the card was whole again. i couldn’t believe what had happened, perhaps, i’d fallen in love with a stranger again.
