I knew I liked him from the very first birthday card he gave me.

Shuffling cards is hard, just as lying. You can lie in many ways, but it is hard to lie by shuffling your cards. You just make the outcome more random, in a way that isn’t always positive. Think about telling the truth, you discard your hand, no more playing required.

I opened the box of my new deck of tarot cards. the first card drawn. The fool. What does this mean? What does it say about me and my future? Or is it my past? Or is it my present? Who knows. My gaze was drawn to the one valentines card I received this year.

He was only there for the gin. The lady he’d brought with him was hanging out by the card table, flirting with the dealer. Is this what life had dealt him? Unfaithful women and bottom shelf liquor?

cards can be sent, written, or well played. they make smiles brighter, or pockets emptier. it all depends on the method. christmas cards, birthday cards, or rather the more sinister playing cards. which ever one tickles your fancy.

“I don’t know if I’ll be able to work with this,” I said, desperately.
“Tough luck, buddy,” he spat at me. “You gotta play the cards you’re dealt.”

cards, the only thing in this world that makes any sense, the only game that could personify life would be poker, you play with the hands you are dealt, the only things with cards that really makes sense is that it does not make sense.
Audry
cards are good for playing games, my mate had this set of cards that had all these really in your face pornography on them, it distracted me from the game.
but still, i love looking at tits when i play poker.

Cards are generally peices of cardboard. People use them to take notes, to build things, and to write to people. There is a websit called PostSecret, in which the creater urged people to send him postcards of their secrets. I urge you to take a look at them.

cards are very important as it can be used for different purposes. For instance we use cards to send out greetings as well as invitations. Furthermore people use cards for business purposes as well as introductory material when meeting people as cards give out a sense of professionalism and saves a lot of time and awkward starts.

You have to play with the cards that are dealt to you. You have nothing else. There’s nothing more difficult than wishing you had someone else’s cards, but you’ve gotta play the game. There are things that will get in your way…jealousy, fear, anger…everything.
Laurin
cards mean losing money. That’s a cruelty to earn profit at the expense of naive people. No places in this world are dirtier than casinos.

cards and cards – birthday cards sitting in the window sill getting yellow by the day, dim reminders of a day long past, when I was happy and loved. Now alone, afraid to remove them from the window, to hide them away in a box or to bin them.
If they are not there, what proof have I of ever being loved? How do I know that these people ever existed in my life?
But it is all my own fault I am alone now, hiding away in my dirty flat, the yellow cards in the window telling everyone that this is who I am.

I guess having a ‘lucky’ something makes people feel special. A lucky time (11:11), a lucky number, a lucky pair of underwear. I have a lucky card. The ace of spades. I guess I don’t play cards much anymore, but i used to collect them (which basically meant running around my house and stealing all the ace of spades from every deck). I guess I never felt any more special for having a “lucky” card, but I liked to pretend.

Cards, I actually thought I should learn how to play poker recently, then I was like….nah.
Joker cards are all I can think about now, damn that Heath Ledger.

cards are sent for many occasions. they are a waste of paper. i cant stand using them for memorizing words i won’t even remember a year from now. i hate wasting paper. no one even means what they say when they give them to you.

I’ll put my cards on the table right now. It has to stop. It has to stop. I rehearse it over and over in my mind but somehow I never say it outloud. Even after a bottle of wine, some sort of self-preservation and politeness remains.

i grew up in a house like this, knew the groan of every stair all the walls seemed to listen in all the years seemed to take up air when you dreamed it was of the wind blowing cold and hard and when you wake up you still live in a house of cards

The only card game that could ever manage to hook me to it, was UNO cards. I never understood the other sophisticated card games, or maybe I never wanted to. I like tarot cards. They look interesting, with weird figures on it.
