  1. Castaways are always surviving. You can’t make a TV show or a movie that has a castaway that doesn’t survive. It’s inevitable. Otherwise, the show is totally worthless, because you want to see how they live off of nothing, even if it’s not really accurate to what you would have to do if you were stranded on my island.

  2. A guy who has worn his heart on his sleeve when instead he should have worn his liver on his lap.

    Bender
  3. the ship on the ocean was lost but the tide kept rolling and the sails kept sailing
    everyone was cold
    the sun tried to shine
    but the clouds blocked him
    and the dolphins swam

  4. I was with my mother in the store. Not the first time she’d pulled this stunt, but I was still young and inexperienced on my own. The next two hours I tried everything I knew to get her back. She must have gotten out before I put the place into lockdown from my ragings in the kitchen aisle.

  5. Castway from this small town. With superior people looking down upon my habits, judging every thing I say or do. If one does not agree with the majority here, you really have no chance of ever surviving. These people have lost all individuality, and it’s sad.

  6. I was sailing on the ship with my future husband. Atleast in my mind. He called it castaway for unknown reasons, reasons I didn’t care to dig on. We’d been together a few years now, and he had yet to pop the question. I was sure that is what this trip was all about.

  7. Castaway? From what? From the outside world?

She was right. I was disconnected. I spend too much time avoiding real life. Real conversations. Real emotions. Real face-to-face.

    I was leaving myself alone.

  8. why do i have to write about castaway?
it makes me think of wilson.
and that tom hanks movie where he gets stranded on that awesome island and goes crazy. then gets rescued and his woman loves another.

    boooooooooooooooooooo.

  9. lost, alone, no home, lonely, no food, no conveniences, no family, no friends,

  10. A castaway is a person who is on an island by themselves. It’s someone who has traveled by boad to a very remote place. A castaway is very lonely and not a very friendly or sociable person as they most likely have been alone for an extended period of time.

    Tina Williams
  11. Tom Hanks is stuck on an island with a volleyball. The movie is completely implausible and impossibly stupid. I would rather shove sharp knives in my urethra than watch this lame movie.

    Chris
  12. don’t think of the burning sand. don’t think of the wretched ball, that has taken on a listless life of it’s own. don’t think of the heckler beyond the fourth wall laughing through his own ineptitude.

  13. He is a castaway, he looks away. From these eyes behind these bushes he cries. He is not lost, but no one will find him. He has been cast from the coast of faces of familiarity.

  14. Underneath…underneath…castaway and beneath the seasons of red right torment. He flexed muscles unused to painful foreverness, a samadhi of hell consuming every nerve. Castaway by the god of his dreams into an earthly prison of wingless death. Into this abyss he suffered for the sin of pride. Pride in what he had never done, pride in what he couldn’t do. Bow before the storm of change.

    CJ Roberts
  15. Ointment to remove the defining physical attributes of a person.

    Tom
  16. a castaway is like your worries. gone, instantly when something of more subsistence arrives.

  17. the movie, it reminds me of the water and the ocean. but mostly the movie with the big waves and everything. the first time i saw it was with my parents and i was really sick during the movie so i slept through most of it. but when i woke up, it was the end. i often link the movie to being sick. it’s a strange comparison but it reminds me of my parents.

    Christine
  18. the movie about this guy that gets stuck with his friend wilson and he loses his mind and then get rescued

  19. I look onward as the clouds move off of the sun, and which shines down onto the water. Loneliness grasps my soul as I think of my lost crewmates. How could it all end like this? That voyage should have been exciting, but not like this…

  21. Rachel jumped onto a large log on the beach. Jimmy raced down the beach towards her.

“What are you doing?! Get away from that ledge. You’ll fall and die!”

He ran faster ignoring the ache in his side.

“There’s no reason for me to live.”

  22. He was a great teddy bear.
My aunt gave me Mr. Bear when I went under the knife.

  25. I was a castaway a nobody- no one knew my name and i liked it like that. I liked being the mysterious person. I looked over to the left and noticed a pair of bright brown eyes looking back at me. He smiled slowly and moved back in his chair. I looked away knowing better. I picked up my bag and threw in all the usual information. “Amy is it?” A voice asked. I turned around in astonishment and nodded slowly.

  27. Gilligan’s Island was one of my favorite shows as a child. I always wanted to be one of the castaways..languishing on the beach like Mr. and Mrs. Howell..or traipsing through the forest like Ginger. Just seemed like it would be such a simple existence.

    Christina
  28. Castaway was a shit movie with Tom Hanks and a football for two hours.

If I had to be a castaway on a dessert island the first thing I would bring is my guitar. I love guitar, I also love my girlfriend .. so I guess I’d bring her too.

But seriously.. Tom Hanks.. and a football.. sorry volleyball.. for two hours.. it was awful

  31. he was a castaway – left behind, scorned, unwanted. his beard long and scraggly, unkempt and unclean. his cup rattled, thin bony hand barely clutching it. i walked past, hurriedly.

  32. Castaways are probably awfully lonely and I hate being lonely. Though some find solace in being alone, I think that it is a little creepy. I like people, I like being around people and wondering what they’re thinking. If I were a castaway, assuming my ship sunk or crashed or got eaten by a shark whith just me on it, I’d be incredibly lonely. I couldn’t try to imagine what my friends were thinking.

  33. tells me that ears are
    open, obviously,
    -mine burn in the light
    months later-
    but keeping shut now
    in distance
    makes a hopeful sense,
    daft romantic

  34. Castaway was an awesome movie. Wilson! I sometimes would like to be a castaway, not that I’m comparing myself to Tom Hanks. It would just be nice to get away for a while and try to fend for myself before I try to do it in college. At least that would give me some sort of experience before I just jumped out of the nest and started falling to the ground. Castaways are probably pretty bored.

  35. Sometimes we are all castaway’s in lifes Island. We feel alone. We feel isolated. We feel as if we are the only ones who feel that way. But if we all feel these similar feelings?…are we really castaway. Or are we all the same.

  37. island paradise.
    moments alone.
    all alone….
until there she is. walking on the beach towards you.
    skin on fire.
    wet hair.
an illusion of the love that you thought wouldn’t even be.

    castaway.
    cast into the smoldering sunset.

    laura
  38. Left on the beach, sunburned, alone. hoping for someone to rescue you. Scared, hungry, wondering.

  39. Castaway, I can only see light. Dense, whole and full but to what meaning shall be attached is not is clear as its breaking beams. I do not see whelming beauty. I do not see paradise nor do I see a guiding source.

Nothing will lead a soul better than pulsing impulse.

    mmm.. cheese :)
