  1. Out of the darkened corners of the auditorium, the sound of a lone cello echoed mournfully. Without an audience, it was sad. Without it’s player, it was lonesome. But it sighed on nonetheless.

  4. I see you sitting there, alone in the corner. If it were up to me, I would rip you out of your darkness. You have your own personal demon sitting on your shoulder, singing you the notes you dare to play. This cello is the device you use. The device in which you express every meaning that the words lose.

  5. There are no cellos in the world. Music never plays, and all the people have fallen asleep. The plants still live on, but they rest their weary heads at night, aware that the beauty has disappeared from the world.

Where does one find true inspiration? If harmonies did not exist, if melodies did not hum throughout the air?

    Humans live on music.

  7. Hello, cello

I have never met a man named cello before but it makes me want to say hello to you. Do you like your name, it may be confusing. Every time you hear hello you respond. What a terrible fucking plan your parents had….unfortunate right, it sounded grand at first. Well it was nice to meet you.

And I think of roses and a cute guy waiting for a girl to come out of the concert hall… Snow falling… I guess Forest Cello, my favorite CD comes to mind… I never really think of a cello, but I know the music is soft and sexy, kind of like a saxophone…

  13. I’m not entirely sure what a cello is, but it sort of sounds like hello, which is kind of cool. It doesn’t rhyme with eggo or moose, but that is okay. It also doesn’t rhyme with purple or orange, but from what I’ve been told, nothing does. It DOES rhyme with Jello though, which is rather exciting. And yeah that’s about it. I think it’s an instrument.

Though no one knows how to pluck the notes

I don’t know if I think she’s particularly cute or not, but there’s something that draws me to her. Or draws me to any girl, really. It is hard to move on after having known and loved someone for so long to see what other women are out there. There are the ones who are attracted to you and will likely sleep with you sooner, and then there are the ones who you like but don’t want to touch you.

  40. The cello was her escape. The second she sat behind it, and her fingers touched the stained wood, she was free. Free form the troubles that waited at home. Through the music she traveled, and dreamed of a better place. The music and the gorgeous instrument in front of her was her salvation.
