Change is in the air and floats around us like a northeaster during an equinox or autumnal tide. That we as a nation, both need a change and seek a change is a basic fact of life at this time. Change can mean many things to so many people
Carole Prior
Change is when something takes on another form. Change can be good or bad, but either way it’s rather unaccepted by society. People tend to dislike finding that things they love have changed.

I had a moment where I believed I must have gone through three years. Each year I lived a completely different life and I became a better woman.

Change can confuse people. It is the power of change that allows it to be so deadly. When faced with change, we don’t know how to act. It forces our brain to perform a shutdown while it reevaluates that just happened. I don’t

today we witnessed change,
but at what price?
and will it truly be change or just some more bull that another politician in power thinks will be good for lining his wallet???

Great, an Obama topic. I’m a bit tired of everyone being so excited. I mean, yeah, he’s not Bush, and yeah, he’s a geek and into cool things like government transparency and independence from special interests, but he’s still a politician. Everyone’s said this already. What you probably haven’t heard is that I have this niggling feeling he’s too good, and will turn out to be an alien or demon or cultist of a Great Old One or something.
Jonathan
I don’t know when the change happened. I don’t know what all caused it. I know it was you. Thank you, I was on a self destructive path and you turned me around. I will never forget and I will always love you.

I wish I coul dgo back and change the way i’ve done things, the way I’ve lived my life so far. I made so many mistakes, so many wrong turns and bad decisions. I know I should log them into my past as things that have shaped who I am today–but what if I don’t like who I am today? What then?
Natalie
A everyday word that has become powerful, strong, hopeful and inspiring. Today is a great day for change.
You
today the world has experienced “change” because Barack Obama is now president. I guess that’s why they chose this word for today. Hah. I have figured out your scheme. But anyway, his speech was really good and thank god that Bush is gone. Thank whatever deities there are in whatever version of heaven really exists. Was anyone else annoyed by the fact that that one guy kept mentioning Jesus?
Lizzy
Change, something no person can ever handle. I wasn’t used to living with people that cared about me, they were different. Owen caught my eye though, he seemed like he had something to hid too, like me.

My Change lies in my rebirth and remembrance of what was and what will be. My powerful and proud change of liberation.

Change is something that we all want to happen. But when it comes to implementing change, we run into some walls. Such as what people think. What people think should not stop us from making ourselves better. To those who are afraid to make themselves better, do it for you. Become the person you want to and change the world for you and everyone around you!
Regi
Change is difficult. No one likes change but it is a part of life. Getting used to change is something that is learned, it doesn’t come naturally. I wish I was better at accepting and adjusting to change.
One of my favourite sayings is the more things change the more they stay the same. Maybe that is the best approach to understanding what change really means.

Change is paramount in my life. Change is something I pray for and I want daily. I hate my life pretty much the way it is right now. There are many things I want to change. I would like to change my economic position so I don’t have to feel so “lesser than” everyone else. I would like to change how my face and neck look–aged. I also want to change where I live. I think I would love to move to SC, but I am also scared. This would be a huge change. Change is something most of us are afraid of, and I have to admit that I am, too. Change, of course, can be good or bad. I am devastated that my life of the old days had to change, as I was fairly content in that life. IT sure beats shit out of what I have now. Change is something I want to see in my oldest daughter. She needs to change several things that are important in her life now, and I pray those things will happen for her. I hope for change for all of us, obviously in good ways.
E. Stucker
Change ..of heart….in your pocket..jangling as you walk down the street. Pulling my loose pants off of my hips..Is it time for change america? could that be why this word appears on this page..to see who has been inspired, who has been changed, and who will understand the change we need?
CHANGE HAS COME TO AMERICA

Obama has been all about change. And we need change. This country needs change. Not change for change’s sake but change because things aren’t working. This isn’t the country it could be. It’s not the planet it could be. We need change to become better. Not just different. Change to become something greater than we were. Change.
Robyn
well there’s this word I’ve been hearing a lot of lately: change. We have a new president; I heard him speak for the first time as president today and I hope that he can bring change.. a powerful but not destructive. a strong but not overbearing positive change to our drowning country. I don’t want to write about losing jobs or michigan not having enough money… dear OBAMA i’m hoping for a change
sona
change is what i need. Change is what i get while purchasing something.I change clothes everyday. Change is something everybody should have.I should change my style of writing letters to my friends.

On this day of the presidential inauguration we are all wondering what will come from this “change” Obama has promised us. I can only hope that the change will turn out to be what we need. I did not vote for Obama but I do hope that he can bring us what we need and turn our country around for the better.

Hoping that at some point we can see beyond what a great BLACK man Barack Obama is, and instead just see what a GREAT man he is.

Change is it. There are other things, but change, motion, the rolling and tumbling, is really it. Everything will change until it loses the ability to change; that is the law of the universe. Change is not spare and it is not sparing; it never spares. That’s it.
Riley
change happens all the time. change can hurt. change can alleviate. it really depends on if you’re the type of person to see the glass half empty or the glass half full. nobody controls change more than they can control the way that they look at that cup, too. it’s like this inevitable bomb drops and however you step away is just the way it is. then you mold whatever is in the ashes.

barack obama says this word way too much so it’s lost meaning, but the word change really does form such wonderful things. As a demand, it’s unavoidable. As a resolution, it’s wonderful.
Gabbie Robbins

change happens when people are willing to accept it, it happens when we want it to, when it is necessary. we fear change because it breaks a status quo, because we are sometimes too familiar with the ordinary. change

I hope that is what we are getting today on inaugaration day.

I have to change my diet tomorrow. Detox. Scary. I went to the kinesiologist today for my TMJ and a host of other problems, and he is putting me on a detox diet. Supposedly, I will look and feel about 10 years younger when I am done. We shall see!
Jennifer Chase
Change means something new. A break from the old, tired, always the same route. Change is good, change is necessary for growth. Go ahead-change.
sofia skantzos
change can mean coins, but today it is a catchword I associate with Barack Obama. It is good, to be embraced, anticipated, and enjoyed. It takes us out of our comfort zones and challenges us. It will amke each of us, and Americans as a people, better, stronger, and more unified.
Lucy E. Edmondson
change is good and necessary. I like change although I recognize not very many to do and can not cope with change. Changeing a tire is not something i enjoy nor know how to do. what else to write about. actually

I’m the only person who can change me. I’m the change I can believe in. Change is scary and change is good, change is what we need if we’re going to survive. Today I’ll change one thing, tomorrow another, then next day one more thing. Before I know it, I’ll be the person I want and need to be.
