It wasn’t a safe set-up, but it was the best way to revive his pet, Jerry – or so Joey had read. He gave the handle one more turn for good luck, and then opened his box and retrieved the golden fish from its surrounding ice cubes. He crossed his fingers, and then his toes for good measure, and tossed Jerry into the water.

She loved to laugh as she sat on his stomach and he looked up into her oceanly blue eyes when he said that she was in charge, that when it came to him she could have her way every time, that he didn’t mind if she used him for her pleasure, she loved to laugh at that moment, as often as it was. Maybe it was because she knew he meant it and she was shocked that love can do that to a person. Or perhaps it was just that she couldn’t believe that someone would be so willing to give themselves up for another. Whatever it was, she loved to laugh at that, and he, well, he loved her enough to let her keep her little secret just waiting for the moment she’d actually do something about it.

  10. Don’t simply walk towards the goals you have set for yourself. You have to charge into them! Don’t put them off and say I will start completing my goals tomorrow. Attack your goals today, head on. The completion of goals makes us feel so much better about ourselves and the harder you go after the things you want to do in life, the better life will be!! Take hold of the things you have been given and CHARGE toward all the things you want to achieve!
