  1. I love chocolate. It makes me feel warm inside. It’s also a very nice antidepressant. Yesterday I received a whole gift bag full of chocolate from my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. It was a very sweet gesture, since he knows how much I love chocolate. It may have been a bit generic to others, but it was completely fine with me. I feel guilty. I don’t know what to do.

  12. Chocolate is something that is a phenomenon in the world, and the United States. While previously it was expensive, discoveries in the United States, specifically with Hershey’s, allowed millions to experience what we take for granted today. Modern chocolate is a mix of milk, sugar, and cocoa from cocoa plants.

  13. I adore chocolate. It comes in many flavors. Bitter and dark is my favorite. Bitter and dark like the love I have for you. Sweet is too sweet when I think of you, and so, my love, you are like dark chocolate. Dark like the night, bitter like our love.

  15. Chocolate is associated with many things: comfort, love, sex, even health. The smooth, richness is comforting in itself but is also said to produce endorphins, making you feel as if you’re in love. This is why chocolate is sometimes used as a self-medication for those combatting depression.

  16. I’m not quite sure how to go about this, but i think of brown when i think of chocolate. Brown candy in brown wrapping in a brown paper bag. Little squares, all symmetrical, whose taste is familiarly surprising.

  17. Oh chocolate, biochemically the same as love, and fatness i suppose. I survived another valentine’s day with nothing more than a brick of fudge, and well maybe i got some physical chocolate. still I tried my best.

  18. can i get a new word? writing about chocolate will only make me want to eat it and feel the goodness of it as it seeps into my mouth from the pyramid of hersey kisses on my desk currently as the debris of one of the worst valentine’s of my life though truthfully none have been great. it’s a dumb holiday anyway.

  21. Emily stood transfixed, miniature hands planted mere inches away from her heart’s greatest desire. Something annoying was niggling at her ears, but she ignored it, intent on Jedi-ing to herself her prize. The amazing prize. It promised to be the most delicious thing she would ever taste, EVER, and she would soon have it in her mouth, no matter what the cost. And she would obtain it all with naught but the sheer force of her will, her undeniable cuteness, and uncanny ability to bend the laws of physics into transforming every one of her 23 pounds into squealing, squirming lead ball that could not be budged. Yes, the thing, the sticky, chocolate-covered whatever-it-was would soon be hers. “EMILY!!!” Two giant hands suddenly gripped her in an inescapable, iron grip and hoisted her into the air. BLAST! How could they be so strong? “Come on Emily we’re gonna be late for Erin’s soccer game.” A whimper, an outstretched hand, and then the prize was gone, never to be seen again as the door closed behind them. She would never live again. Never breathe. For how could she go on the rest of her life having never tasted anything so delicious as the chocolate thing? Her life was ruined. Her dreams stolen. But not victory. Victory would be hers. She would make the bearer of those giant hands, those giant, dream killing hands, pay for their sins. Soccer game you say? We’ll see about that. And came the scream.

  24. Chocolate is ecstasy for kindergartners. Chocolate is acceptance for the broken hearted. No matter what you’ve done or how many punches you’ve taken to the face, chocolate will be there to ease your pain.

  25. I was going to call my baby chocolate, just because it sounded fun. I could picture a little dark skinned boy running around with an afro, with a big grin on his face. Alchemy, cocoa, things of fusion, and the bitter shadow that is part of the chocolate realm.

    Andy Tope

  35. Chocolate is what she craved when it was that time of the month. It was that time of the month. Chocolate was not available & she was starting to get angry. Sure, chocolate makes you fat, but she was already bloated & could care less. She knew she wasn’t fat, but the chocolate provided comfort. Now, she felt fat, looked fat, and couldn’t even enjoy chocolate… wtf.

  36. creamy and dark, unless it’s white and sprinkled with candy cane pieces. warmed up and melted over fruit, is when it’s at its best. hot chocolate can only be amazing when paired with mini marshmallows that blanket the top of the mug.

  37. A personal favorite to many, and a dislike to others. It comes in many forms, but no matter what form, its still good. Rich, creamy, crunchy, and yummy are just a few words used to describe a past and present favorite. Hershey, Godiva, and Lindt are some names that make my mouth water, and with all a different taste they are still chocolate brands. The sweet tasty cocoa tree was discovered 2,000 years ago in a tropical rainforest in the Americas. Grounded and mixed with spicy seasonings was how it all began. Enjoy it as a drink or snack!

  38. At my brother’s girlfriend’s baby shower, we played a game where we had to look in “dirty” diapers and write down which chocolate bar we thought they had melted into the diaper. I managed to get six out of seven chocolates right, missing only the Baby Ruth. I won that game, and it made the very first baby shower game I’ve ever won. Yes, I know my chocolate.

  39. Chocolate is people’s favorite way of getting out of any stress in their lives like break-ups, depression or any anxiety. It fullfills the wish of that person momentanealy. Also, chocolate is a passion to others.
