  9. my dog is afraid of chrome, probably because the neighbor’s motorcycle crouches underneath a cover that dances up in the wind… to her it must seem like a chrome beast growling out its covering and coming for Her Pack… but to me it just seems like a poor choice for a lawn ornament.

  14. chrome is a kind of cover thing you put on metal or wood i guess but whatever it makes sure things get shiny and it’s pretty great on cars and stuff when you want to look hot. it’s also kind of this term for anything shiny and mirrory except mirrors of course. chrome is silver colored and it’s really cool on interior decorating things to make them look all modern and stuff.

  18. bicycles have lovely wheels and when you polish them the metal shines like the moon which is pretty and glints in the sun although of course, when they get a bit dirty the effect wears off and chrome can become as dull as dishwater. you can also use it to make jewelry or as a protective layer on base metals such as copper or brass. I wonder when the minute stops?

  21. Mom and dad brought home the new car to show us kids. It was a sleek, black 1959 Chevy Impala with chrome details that gleamed in the sun! I thought I had never seen a more beautiful car. My brother and I got into the back seat and noticed there were little star patterns cut out in the ceiling and they sparkled just a bit. It was the kind of detail only a kid would notice and think to be important. My mom looked so pretty driving such a smart looking car.
