  1. “Take it would you? It’s getting on my nerves.” Jack passed him the cigarette as they stood in the twilight over the ledge of the 23rd floor overlooking the demons scurry below.

Jack continued. “What should we do with them all? They’re all so fu**ing mindless and unknowing. It really is sad, but this must be done.”

“Burn them all,” the stranger replied, “They won’t even struggle. Watch as they run into their own damnation thinking it’s their salvation.” This was the end of all ends. Jack glanced at the stranger, afraid that what he said was true. Afraid that some part of him is a demon running into the awaiting fires.

  3. He took a drag from his cigarette as he observed the girl in front of him. She was a virgin, no doubt. Innocent, no scars, really pale, chic and posh. Why was she bothering to speak to him?
He eyed her momentarily as she waited for his response.
“Trust me, princess.” He said, pushing himself up from the wall. “I’d take your innocence in a snap.”

  4. I see you light that cigarette for the first time today and I’m Professor Trelawney, and I can see the future. Just another addict to see on my daily commute. Yeah, you said “I’ll do it once, I just want to try it” and try to assure me that it’ll never come between us. But I was Professor Trelawney and I could see you with all your new friends, the ones that accepted that you wanted to throw your life away, the ones that got you hooked on every drug they could get into their hands on, and now look where we are.

  13. She took a long drag of her cigarette, filling her lungs with the cancerous smoke before exhaling it all out into the clean, open air. A frown tugged at my lips as I watched this, though I could not tear my eyes away. If my sister wanted to kill herself, slowly but surely, then I would spend all the time I could with her before her nasty habit took her away from me.

  23. Cigarette smoking is injurious to health..this is the sentence written on every cigarette packet. Yet there are so many people, young and old who smoke. Europe is a place where smoking is really common. Girls, boys, young, old, alike are addicted to smoking. It is almost like the last course of their meal there.
Cigarette contributes to stress as a short time impact and cancer as a long term. People addicted to it must try to quit.

She told him that she’d quit. And, you know, she really did mean it at the time. But she just… She needed it. That one fucking thing in her life that when everything went wrong? Would still be there, craving her attention. Would still be the same, amongst all of the changes.

She opens up the packet, fumbling for another one.

I’m an addict for second-hand smoke.

You just look like you’re trying way too hard to be ironic and edgy. not cool. sorry. WOah I get that you need something to calm you down, but really? REAALLY? You resorted to that? I’m so sorry dear. I thought you were better, but we all think that once right? Yeah, such is life.
