Classic styling, classic lines, classic looks. Images that are always perfect, never clunky, awkward, real or wrong. Classic seems unattainable to me.

America’s fine cars are no longer what they used to be. NMo more classics, just practical cars. Built for the commute, not cruising. For practiality’s sake, not pleasure. And all of this is just a trend for life. It’s nostalgia for what was fun and uses for what is usefel

It was then that she knew; the painting was really a classic. It could be no fake, for here, underneath all the strokes and lines was the authors signature. It just needed someone to find it.

The classics, those works of art and literature that you should read and think about, but don’t. And yet, the ones that writers and artists aspire to create, something that will be forced upon schoolchildren for centuries to come, or until society collapses.
Whichever comes first.
Sarah Goslee
A Classic-something old, something timeless. But not always good. A classic movie may have scratchy sound or bad picture quality. A classic book may have a confusing writing because it was writen over a hundered years ago and the way people spoke was differnt than it is now. A classic record could be out of age and unpopular in today’s modern quick-paced culture. To be perfectly honest, that word is tossed around to much. A lot of adults I know use it to describe things they liked when they were children and are still around. I know adults that use it todescribe thing that are out now. Though I think the definition is vague sometimes, sometimes the word works to describe it. I wish that people could be more specific on what a classic ACTUALLY is.

i was walking down my block one sunny day coming back from the groceries.Guess what i saw?! i saw a classic porshe 944. it was the color black. the sun was beaming off of it. it was just washed. i dropped my bag of groceries; i couldnt believe my eyes as i saw old man Jenson getting of the car and waving at me.
I walked over to him and i asked him when and where he had gotten this car. he said that he was fixing it in his garage for a while because the engine was broken. i stared at him and the car in awe. i still couldnt believe my eyes i wondered what other classical cars he might have. Everybody said that he had a huge garage with about five cars in it. he invited me into his garage. Woah..I saw a Bentely S Series the color of pale blue parked next to the garage door. I wonder what other classic cars he had…

It was a classic mistake. I don’t know whether she meant to do it or not, but it’s certainly going to be something no one will ever forget. Sometimes I wish she would take a little more care over what she does, but to be as stupid as she was… its social suicide. She will be bashed for that forever. Oh my days.
Never again will I see something as horrifically idiotic, or as sidesplittingly funny as her mistake she made. Never. Things like this should happen more often.

the classic case of misunderstanding is between sympathy, which is a trained psychological trait and empathy, which is something graced, an ability that we own. it is a vision.

i am a lover of the classic, of dreaming in lost times of romanticism. I am a lover of classic beauty but cannot seem to transfer it to myself. Classically loving, classically lover. Today is not a good writing day.

Classic like Gap Jeans, or the new old Coke flavor, or classic like Frank Sinatra and all of his classic friends. Classic like a movie that deserves to be watched again and again. Or a car that is faithfully, lovingly preserved in an older man’s garage. A classic – that Dickens novel you never read in high school, even though it was assigned, even though you wrote a paper on it. Classic.

Books are classic. Clothes are classic. These are things that are timeless and never go out of style. Things that are classic are sometimes seen as conservative or stuffy, but they can be interesting and dramatic because there is a range of things that are classic. Doesn’t have to mean stuffy.

84 porche that I would like to buy. Not to own, or fix, but to enjoy. The problem with cars is that they are just too demanding. Like a bad relationship. If it gives more than takes, it is good. Car rarely is. You just end up being owned by it. Working for it. It takes you to work.

classics. naturally disney movies come to mind. why do they? because i’m childish and immature? no, they’re just… classic. altough i must admit, i do classify things as classic way to often. as if just because it was awesome and in the past makes it “classic”.

Books can be classics, but no-body ever seems to know just why they’re classics. If you ask a teacher, they’ll say “You have to read this book because it’s a classic” or “It’s good because it’s a classic.” I thought it was supposed to be a classic BECAUSE it was good.

“I’ll have the classic burger, fries and a pickle,” I replied to the surly waitress. I thought “WHADDYA WANT?” was a little abrasive, especially for a new upscale-y bistro in a funky, posh section of town. She must not need her tips, I mused silently, as I handed her my menu. I thanked her for taking my order. She just sneered and swished away. Waitresses. Yep, I’d been one once. A sucky existence if ever there was one.

There is something about classic novels that disgusts me. Maybe its that everyone thinks they need to have read them. Need to have an oppinion on them. Need to have seen the deeper meaning in some of them. They need to bond over them. I guess thats what bothers me the most. They are just books. Some of them are BAD books too.

the old days when everything was simpler, yet more richly rewarding than any of the modern pleasures we have today. when things were enjoyable simply because they were fresh and exciting.

classic is of lastign worth over time–so one thing i can gain from the word classic is its inherent quality; at the same time, classic is something that is perfect of a particularity–in this sense, if this perfectness is of lasting value over time, then it is classic in this new sense as well!

Like a pair of Gucci sunglasses. Like a houndstooth jacket. Classic.
