But once you clean yourself, you still end up building all the same emoitions back up right where they used to be…

  10. I don’t think people think of clean the same anymore. Everything has to be disinfected to be clean. You can’t just put your hands in soap and water and say clean. Other folks never seemed to grasp the concept in the first place. If you use the bathroom WASH YOUR HANDS.

  18. cleanse. it makes me think of a shampoo commercial. the woman is sitting outside bathing in a waterfall with “shower fresh” scented shampoo. there is clear water all around her, fresh water. everything is clean and pure. i love the word cleanse.

  19. I like to be clean, taking a shower is very important, but I suppose you can bathe as well. I guess you don’t have to be cleaning yourself however, you can clean plates, or your shoes. Cleaning things is a good thing to do when angry. I do it all the time, grime, you are mine! That’s what I say. I am finishing my last sentence.

  20. I hate showering I really can;t stand it because everything is so clean. I hate shvaing and soaping. Especially now that my nipples are pierced. What should I do. This is a lot of pressure. All for one small word. Cleanse. What the hell is that. I was expecting soemthing more dangerous expecially cause thats where my mind was at the time.

  21. I wish I could cleanse the soul. However, I doubt that one can really cleanse it entirely. The soul is like a surface you can scrub and scrub, but can never completely sterilize and renew. If it was, there would be no personality or trauma in this world. And I wouldn’t be willing to give up one for the othere

  22. cleansing means your cleaning. sins or dirt or whatever. cleansing your soul or your clothes it has so many meanings. this and many other words are so fascinating how they can have so many different meanings and uses. Its a very pretty word and intend to use it more often

  23. milk. the bath was like milk as I stepped in. I remember using grandmas fragrant salts and beads to make my bath time seem like a grown up oasis. I was a little kid with itchy skin, and caked around my neck and in the creases behind my knees. I dreamed of being the Calgon Lady. and the water somehow felt smooth. Like I imagined bathing in warm milk to be. Even in the summer, the thought of bathing in this milking tub makes me feel like all my problems could melt away

  27. cleansing means pure. i wish purity was an easy thing to obtain, but it’s not. i want to be cleansed. If only it were that easy. Cleansing sounds good..I wish I could be pure again. Purity….I want it, but am afraid that I will never see it again.

  35. To cleanse can have a few meanings or connotations. It could mean to cleanse your body or it could do a spiritual cleanse. Either way, it is a positive thing to do.
