  11. She stares at that wretched clip board
    nods her head
and scribbles words down on it
does she even write about me on there?
or is it all shopping lists,
    good song names,
    and sexual fetishes?
I might leap across the table
    steal that obtrusive thing
and read every word on it,
    but I have a feeling,
she’s either be writing down lyrics,
    or that i’m crazy.
    I don’t wanna know.

If only he’d scanned it to his computer before he left, set up his VPN client, charged up his iTouch, was close to a free WiFi hotspot, had someone, anyone, who could pick up the landline at home who could read it to him if he called. If he could get a cell signal. . .if his phone was charged. . .if he had the car charger here in the car. . .somewhere. Anywhere. Anyone. Help?
