  14. It’s a coat, there’s not much you can say about it, is there? I don’t get it. If the words they gave us were a bit more imaginative, it might be a lot nicer to write about them. Something interesting, intelligent, inspirational, etc. But coat? What am I supposed to write about a coat? I’m wearing one right now, I guess. It’s brown. Not that cool. I need it though, cause it’s so damn cold over here in Lebanon. See what I mean? Coats are so damn uninteresting!

  21. I’ll get my coat, a saying people in the UK use each time they embarrass themselves. I suppose the most embarrassing thing I have every done, is when I ran across a dirt track and didn’t see the knee high chain.. I went flying.. not cool at all.

  30. I’m not sure about this word. The only thing that’s good about it is that it rhymes with “goat”. I don’t think I’ll be using “goat” in any poetry in the future, so I don’t have any particular inclination to use this word.

    A coat as an object is pretty useful though. Wouldn’t want to die from frostbite.

As I was pulling on my shoes, I surveyed the room one last time, heaving a sigh before turning away and walking out in the cold. The bright red of my peacoat stood out like a spot of blood on a white sheet against the blanket of snow outside.

  33. coats are great. especially in the cold weather. i mean who doesnt like to wear a nice big comfortable coat when its rainy and cold outside? but what really sucks is having to wear a coat if it’s hot and summertime. i’m not too sure who does that but it could happen. people are strange.

  38. What is a coat it is something to keep you warm or to give to someone that needs to be warm in the winter. Either way it is a great gift for someone who is in need. God Bless.

  40. i have a black coat that i absolutely adore. i love that i can wear it for any day kind of weather, fancy schmancy occasions, anything really. it looks sophisticated if you ask me and that’s what i like. does it keep me warm? naw, not really.
