  1. i have a dog with a big orange collar. she pulls out of it often and i havent seen her in about three or four days. i think my moms crazy ex boyfriend took her and wont give her back. hes ruined my feelings of safety in my own home. now when someone knocks i sit and i wait until they leave.

  2. they tightened the collar around my neck and began to pull… i ran backwards trying to get away… but it was useless. i screamed out for help. but no one came to rescue me, i cried harder and they pulled harder.

  4. collar can be the collar on a working man’s shirt or the collar of a dog. either way it represents a place of status and belonging, for a dog it means that this dog has a home and a good life, for a man it means that this man has a job and most likely a good high paying one.

  6. yes, that’s what the police do- collar you.Also, it’s the aggravating piece of a shirt that never fails to curl up at the side ans. if that ws not enough, it gets incredibably dirty.

  9. dogs wear them, lipstick gets on them…you never know! you get hot around your collar, you can have too much starch in your collar. funny word! They collar criminals, but that really has nothing to do with the collar they are actually wearing!

  10. a collar is something you wear around your neck. i always worry about them choking me, but other people don’t seem to mind. i do like the ruffs people wore in shakespeare’s time, however. fun to wear. i guess what i’m trying to say, is that being an actor is fun; except when you have an office job.

  11. The woman gasped as she her hand sprung out ,colliding with her husband’s face.

    “What the hell was that for?” He yelped, moving his own hand to cover the handprint forming on his cheek.

    “You have lipstick on your collar!” She cried, tears begining to leak out of her eyes.

    “I Can explain…” He said feebly, but before he could even say a word the door was slammed in his face, the salt of his wife’s tears lingering in the air between them.

  13. His collar was wet by water from his hair. He tried to impress all the others but I saw through him. He wasn’t more then me. Not more then anyone. He was a dog. A dog that wanted everyone’s antention and shoke of the wetness as if people wanted to become as wet as him. Wanted to be him.

  14. i used to think that a collar was just some “thing” on a shirt. it wasnt until now that i realized that its the only thing holding my shirt together and hiding when i get hot.i hate collars.a lot. really. a lot. wow.

  16. I noticed that I was wearing my green shirt when I woke up today. Still wearing my green shirt actually as I’d not been home in days. But the most bizarre thing was that not only were all my buttons missing but so was my collar.

  17. the collar of my shirt has a tendency to choke me. when i am in a place bunched up with tins of people i just can’t stop thinking about how it is slowly getting tighter and tighter and tighter. i can’t stand it almost and have to pull.

  20. Collar.. as in collar bones… another one of my random attractions. Collars are such awesome things highlighting this area ever so nicely on the right people. But make sure there’s no lip stick or a ring on the collar… neither of them are good signs.

  25. I have to wear a shirt with a collar at work. It used to annoy me but I have grown to deal with it. I love my job so a small thing like this doesn’t bother me too much anymore. I swore when I was younger that I wouldn’t ever have a job that made me wear a uniform. I’ve grown up.

  29. Why do people pop their collar? it’s almost as silly as one wearing a cap backward. That is not the point of a cap, nor is it the point of a collar to pop it. A collared shirt serves a purpose, a collared shirt with a popped collar indicates immaturity beyond years. Don’t pop your collar.

  30. the collar is on everyone, not just humans but dogs as well. and the ones on the dogs are more fascinating than those of the humans. the dog collar helps the dog keep in control. may be the same thing could be applied to humans as well
