Commas seperate things. Words cannnot come together, all because of you. The horrible selfish comma. You are just jealous of the hyphen. Now that’s love. The hyphen is love, bringing words together to live happily. Oh Comma, you are just JEALOUS.

At first I thought this said coma. I wonder what it’s like to be in a coma. I remember the father in the movie “Uptown Girls” was in a coma. It made me really sad when he died. Goodness gracious, I love that movie. I have seen it so many times. It made me love Dakota Fanning and Brittany (sp?) Murphy.

Commas are useful and necessary. Use them.

The comma defines our existence. It creates that pause between words, between sentences- wrapped up in that pause is a glance, a smile, a hand on your shoulder, the things that make life so amazing every day. Someone in this critical world praising you; someone in this self-absorbed world finding you the most amazing thing they’ve ever seen.

You can do so much with a comma, it can increase what you can write about and make your sentences a lot longer and more complicated. I like to use commas in a lot of the things I write, without commas i guess we would all have to resort to using the semi colon instead

a comma is something used in writing, to express a pause, a hesitation, a consideration. some people place way too many commas in their writing, and i find it annoying. i guess i’m also annoyed when people speak as if acknowledging commas. there are many kinds of punctations to put into sentences, like semicolons, colons, dashes, ellispes. i think i like ellispes best.

A source of punctuation that not enough people know how to use properly. As a rule, people either use it too often, putting it in places where it doesn’t belong or isn’t needed; or it is not used enough and therefore makes run-on sentences. It’s really rather simple, wherever you would pause while reading out loud, put a comma.
