  6. To me, coral brings up the pale pink color you find in so many clothes and jewelry and materialistic things. But where this this color originate from? Mere skeletongs in the ocean? Yes, of course. I realized that we draw inspiration from nature so often but fail to credit it equally as often.

  7. the sea shore was brimming with little scattered crabs and a beautiful piece of coral was hung in a mass of sea weed.

    The dog barked and ran unceremoniously into the giant waves and was clueless of the approaching storm.

  17. i never met a girl named coral, except that one that was on tv, but i never actually met her. she did a season of the real world.

    back in the day, i remember being a kid and waiting for the day i turned 18 so i could put in an application for the realword, and by the time I was old enough to do it, the show was so stupid and fake it wasn’t worth the trouble.

  18. I hate the color coral. My friend’s prom dress was the color coral. I sound like an idiot teenager, but this is the only thing I can think of. My dad scuba dived in Belieze and I’m sure there’s a whole lot of coral there. I saw an octupus in Puerto Rico once.

  19. Tonga coast is full of it. Maybe we need to check the australian ones and how they are surviving. What about snorkeling and scuba diving. Pretty. Clear. Water. Ocean. Color. What Pantone color is it. Is it a Crayola color? Should be. In the box of 64 or 96?

  20. I had always wanted to go snorkeling. Too bad my first chance to do it I discovered I had a fear of drowning. Nearly destroyed a coral reef with my feet in a panic. Oops.

  24. the reefs of the deep support a plethora of rich and divergent number of species which can only be seen there. This is probably the most important part of these reef ecosystems since it shows how life can be so different and alien to us.

  28. It’s the color of lipstick and weird brain-like tree-like things that live in the sea. It’s also a girl I went to high school with, that had 2 kids by 2 different fathers by the time she was 17. I like the sound of the word though, it makes me think of pretty colors.

  29. Is the color of my grandmother’s really ugly shower curtains. Actually the overall decor of her bathroom has, of late, had the unfortunate premise of spreading into her bedroom. It all makes for one sickeningly iconic western scene. I guess good thing my grandparents like Spaghetti Westerns then, eh?

  31. reef. And my coral colored shirt. I wore that to the very first apartment interview I ever had and I thought I was BA with my hat and pigtails and Luchadore boots. God, I looked dumb as fuck. Trying to dress alternatively like that… ugh. I feel much more comfortable with myself now. :)

  36. is one of my favorite colors…it reminds me of all the times i spent in the mediteranian for some reason it makes me think of summer and the beach and my friends i used to hang out with everyday it also looks great on me one of the most unique colors i’ve ever seen.

    Coral reef, alot like some people you may have fallen in love with in your life; absolutely beautiful, full of life, dreams, hopes and ambitions. But coral can be sharp, alot like the person you may be head over heels in love with right now.

  40. i have never seenthe coral reef. i wouldnt know what color it is. im sure it is a beuatiful sight to behold. but i have heard that it rips at your skin and sinks boats as well. if i were a coral instead of a human, i wouldnt have a keyboard.
