  5. Hmmm I wonder if we are talking about a crane as in the guy that flies or the machine that lifts heavy things high up. I think it would it more fun writing about the crane that flies. It must be amazing soaring high above the house enjoying the sights from way up high. However, it would be scary to meet an airplane way up there!

  20. Cranes are something beautiful. I’ve often heard about myths that consider them to be honored beings, but to me they’re just birds. Birds are ugly, birds poop, and birds fly when they poop. I like them anyways. Cranes.

  22. my dad took my sister and me on a walk through some woods in southern saint paul, along some river. i don’t remember which one. he’d point out to us, out by a little boggy area, where there would sometimes be a crane hiding out, behind some bushes. it would come out when we would be on our way back to our car, standing out int he middle of the pond in the bog, staring up. never noticed us.

  25. There was once a crane…it lived in a tall tree in the middle of Alaska. This crane fed on weasels mostly, but from time to time it enjoyed a delicious beer. You see, after some time this crane became an alcoholic, but thanks to AA, it recovered fully.

We will rain it down on the yes we will turn all the water into chocolate by drop by drop and when the milk goes off there will be children crying on the beaches, when the milk goes sour we will go across the ocean with pegs on our noses, we will find the centre of the land masses of the Earth and dig a hole underground, the smell will be so bad. But there will always be the chocolate.

  28. I’ve always wanted to hang out at the top of a really tall crane. Seeing everything for miles around, not afraid of falling. If someone I trusted was at the controls I could even get swung around up there. I’d crane my neck all around to take everything in.

  31. the crane is free and has the capacity to fly as high as it can with no feeling of guilt or distress at all. pretty much i dont know what to write but this sounded interesting to look at.also i do not even know what a crane is but this little website thing told me to just write and not think so that is what i am doing also i have always just hated country music and everyone asks me why so i just say i dont know and then i started listening to it and now its kind of enjoyable, but just kind of.

It’s paper, yet it lends itself otherwise as it’s form (in belonging to itself) is tantamount to that which it is, and in not being paper it is strong in lifting other forms, unlike itself, or perhaps much like itself. So what does this mean? Simply, it lives and breathes much like ourselves, but only in so much as it is, or was, alive, and if not it is a mover when moved.

  34. I would hear the cranes as I sat in the back of the truck in the sleeper. I would worry when my dad didn’t come back for a long period of time. And all I kept hearing was that crane. I kept thinking what if he’s hurt? what if that crane… that stupid stupid crane has hurt him? Then he would come back and get in and ask “are you ready for the next place?” Which was always a “yes”
