  1. It was more difficult than I thought it would be. Wheeling up to the ledge, I had to tip the chair towards the white covered iron banister to get close to the tip. Stretching my neck, I could hear every vertebrae pop, but at least I was trying to see something greater.

Just then, Bob grabbed his paddle to drive the dog off. the crane was unhurt but wounded in his hunger. He turned on Bob and flew onto his back, claws digging into his shoulders screaming his rage, the dog then bit down on Bob’s leg. This was all a flash of course, as Mary poured some wine casually as if the course of events passed for normal in their relationship and she was used to having picnics like this every October in Maine. The others were silent, the day lingered a bit too long while the boat drifted down the gray water screaming and rocking to and fro…wine carelessly spilled from the crystal.

  9. A crane has many uses. It can be a large machine used to lift things in construction, a bird, or a very popular origami figure. Though there are many uses for the crane, they don’t come up much in everyday conversation. This is why it is my new favorite word.

Not really, but I do think about what a friend recently said about the 1000 cranes that a litle girl wanted to make after the bombing of Nagasaki, when she had cancer. She didn’t get to finish, but friends and people everywhere finished it for her. The crane is a symbol of peace because of this initiative.

  38. it is something that construction workers use to reach, move, or place something. Another definition is a bird. It’s a bird with a long neck. Most construction workers use it pipes.
