  3. Developing photography never seemed to complicated. Watching the film turn into captured memories, that was hardest. Seeing his face pop up in pictures, even though it would never visit that field or feel the warm sun again. Who knew that the darkroom would turn into the only place I could go to seek solace and remember him the way he always was: happy and free.

  4. somewhere to make love with a beautiful person. or it could be somewhere to get killed by a crazy person that you once made love to. strange isn’t it how one min they’re everything then the next they are cutting your heart out of your chest. there are many things that can happen in a darkroom.

She did not remember what had happened after someone had knocked her out. She should have listened to her father when he had wanted her to have bodyguards… How was she to expect a kidnapping in the middle of the street in midday? And where was her boyfriend?   13. Darkrooms are for doing film. This was used back in the old days now all the cameras are digital and you can do it from pretty much any computer. All cameras used to be negatives. Now they are all ran on a little microchip.

  14. In the darkroom I developed the pictures. I was shocked by what I saw. I had never seen anything so disturbing and gruesome. If he ever found out that I saw these he would kill me. I just know it. How could he hide a secret this big? What would happen if anyone found out? Would he go to jail for the rest of his life?

  15. I’ve never seen a darkroom. But all I know is that’s where you make film. I bet it would be hard to work in one of the darkroom. Having to try to put it all together. I don’t mean like a real darkroom.

  21. Darkrooms are really rapidly becoming things of the past. Darkrooms are places where they mess with film. I’ve never seen one, and today is the first time I’ve ever heard of one. They seem boring.

  32. My husband (he died, about 15 years ago) loved photography, and transformed our utility room into a dark room. Which was fine until a cat needed an urgent visit to the garden – via the darkroom. Imagine, if you will, a cat with her legs crossed waiting for until the photographic coast was clear!

  34. The darkroom was very scary. It was very quiet with no one inside beside me and other friends. You couldn’t see any thing.

  35. My life is one, big dark room…at least, that’s what the girl said.I didn’t see it. Fascinating, elegant, but dark? I loved her then, but could no longer. If she would just let a little sun in at her window, but..no, the pictures wouldn’t have developed quite so well.

    “That’s a wrap!” I said. I had just taken the best pictures i’ve ever taken, i’m pretty sure.

    a couple days later, i took them to the darkroom to develop them. i saw them in the light, and they were more than i’d ever had.

  38. Monsters in the dark reach out their tentacles and slither around with long tongues and buggy eyes. They reach through the passage with their suction cups. But they cannot touch because they thrive in a darkness that only exists in the mind.

  39. So i was taking photos one day and decided it was time to develop some great shots. So i went into my personal dark room and started in. It didn’t take very long to realize that none of my shots were going to develop the way i wanted them to. two reasons, one, i think i may not have the right chemicals to develop film, secondly, my camera is digital.

    So i sit here in this darkroom and wonder what i’m doing here.

  40. Angela felt her heart stop when her nightlight suddenly cut off. It wasn’t as if the bulb died (she replaced it last week) but something switched it off. She screamed in terror as she heard someone laugh menacingly from somewhere in the darkness.
