  12. So there is an Indian holiday called Diwali, which is basically a celebration that reminds me of Christmas. All the Indian people in my neighborhood put up a bunch of colorful light decorations. Also, apparently, Diwali is a festival during which Indian people are supposed to purchase and/or display large amounts of gold in their homes. Anyway, because of the bright, “Christmasy,” lights being displayed, Indian homes can be easily identified during the time of the holiday. And because of this robbers can easily pinpoint houses to steal from, as they are aware that November lights=Diwali and Diwali=gold. Therefore, November lights=gold. This is why November tends to be the time of year that police sirens can be heard at 12 am almost every night. Yep, Totally went over the 1 minute limit.
