Oh deer. I like deer. Deer are the symbol for grace and calm. Deer are actually dangerous and mean, yet when I think of a deer I think of the doe in the meadow, the sun shining, calmness and peace all around. Tall grass and butterflies.
dear deer:
how are you? how’s the forest treating you? i hope you’ve found what you were looking for and no wild animal had found you before and killed you and eaten you.
come and visit us again. we miss you.

Deer: not to be confused with “dear.”
As a deer panteth for water, my soul yearns.
Doe, a deer, a female deer.
deer in the head lights look, the look of what in the world? omg i am going to die. the look of surprise and wonder in one, but yet it happens on almost all mammals that are ration, depends on how rational they are.

I saw a deer at the store today. I don’t know why it was there and what it’s purpose was. But i thought it very interesting. I went up to pet it and it let me! I don’t know why. But I don’t care. Because it was a deer at the store. It was meant to be there when I was.

deers can kill people if they go through the windscreen but they are lovely beautiful creatures-graceful, quiet, timid things. their mating season is exciting and they give off incredible pheromones which even humans can smell from ages away!
RE
The deer was standing silently in the woods. Her head was tipped down so just the tip of her nose touched the cool water of the creek. She heard a sound and turned to see a beautiful Elk coming her way. Rather than alarm, she felt a sudden urge of love and pateince. With the colors of the field warming her, she began to stride towards the more heavily wooded area. Her job here was done.
One day I was in a park with my camera looking to photograph some landscapes when I saw a deer. It stared right at me and for 10 minutes I photographed the deer instead.
i used to think that my inner animal was a deer in fourth grade. timid sweet and unsuspecting.

there was a deer blocking my path and i didn’t want to startle him. his eyes were sad and he looked at me like he knew my soul. i tried not to make any movement at all but i don’t think he’d have startled even if i did. he looked world weary.

I’ve seen a lot of deer living here in Michigan. A lot have been involved in fatal accidents.
I’ve actually even tried deer meat. It tastes pretty darn good if I might say so myself.

the things that make you say oh shit, you slam on the breaks in the middle of the night on the icy pass in Colorado but you are in the clear cause you saw it just in time.

Oh, deer.
Not. Again.
That’s all I can say as I’m driving down Pineville Lane, late at night, on my way home from the city. You politely look at me with your innocence because you don’t have a care in the world. You stand there with your pride and continue to be motionless while looking at me like I am of lower class.
As if you’re asking me, “Is there a problem?”
Let me assure you, There. Is.
Now please get out of the way.
you are very sweet, kind, sensitive, pretty, beautiful, free, creative, and lovable. You are timid, but friendly when you get to know someone. You are as gentle as a flower. The forest is your home, and it is very warm and colorful. We love you.
Phoebe
The deer bolted across the road. The car swerved, and all was still again. The nature of the human is clearly seen in that moment, the split-second decision to save a life rather than end it.

Once there was a deer, it was purple with pink spots and it loved to eat children, it had razor sharp teeth and claws like a tiger. It was 3 inches big and had 4 inch ears.

Dear me, I thought on first glance the word was ‘dear.’ Damn deer on the road. I’v e never seen a deer before. But I like the idea of them, Deer are wild and free. And all those antlers, like they’re making a statement. A stay away from me statement .
The white tailed deer is currently known to be one species, but scientist are making genetic discoveries that point towards two species of deer with a north south boundary.

As I drove home from work, down a dark quiet street, something caught my eye. something reflecting harshly in the head lights. I slowed, and glimpsed a mother deer and her spotted offspring, calmly eating grass

Deer are scary and very beautiful. When they aren’t running out infront of my car in the middle of the night they’re elegant creatures.
people kill them and eat them. they taste good though. bambi. that was a sad movie. why do they stop when they see your headlights? they run fast.

caught in the headlights, a skull on my bookshelf.
They swarm the roads here at night.
I dodge them, so far no fatalities, not with the deer anyway,
now bear, that is a different story.

A doe. A deer. A female deer.
It echos in my head, a melody that is unending as i sit watching white walls blend with white walls blend with white walls…
where is the doctor? he promised he’d come see me today. Or tomorrow. Ashita is tomorrow in Japanese. Who told me that? I don’t remember.
Where is the doctor? I hum the question to the melody of the song that won’t stop playing.

“bogdan sees infinite amounts of life and death.the numbers become too big.in order to not become like a deer in the headlights he focuses on specific people to make it all real.bogdan focuses on you, kathleen.”
Its funny. I laughed when I saw the deer; just standing there. I wondered what was going through its mind…I wonder if it felt anything…I wonder how long it will take for someone to find my car, or my body.

John Deere tractor my grandpa used to drive around the yard back when he was still alive. I loved that thing, I even got to drive it once after he died. I think dad sold it now though, it broke… or something to that extent. I can’t remember. Also reminds me of Bambi, which I never actually saw, and of homework that I should be doing just about now.
Deer: an entire species that is most signified by its final action before meeting death (or nearly meeting it). Humans use the expression “deer in headlights” for a multitude of situations, but few can admire its poetic connotation, or its tragedy undertones.

i read a story once about a little boy who was offering a deer a junior mint. the mother was intrigued so she decided to take a photograph. the little boy stuck his hand out to the deer, and quickly pulled it back for the picture’s sake, at the wishes of his mother. the deer was upset and promptly trampled the boy, crushing his ribs with her hoofs.

I hate deer so much. When I go out for the bus in the morning they are ALWAYS there. It’s so annoying. I’m actually pretty afraid of them. I hope they’re afraid of me as well. It may be terrible to say this, but I would not mind AT ALL if they just dissapeared from the face of the earth. In fact, it would bring me joy.
There wouldn’t be so frickin’ many up in Ohio if we hadn’t killed all the wolves.. kinda symbolic if you think about it.
