  2. like a plane delay, holding on & waiting to take off, to go, to do something. A halt in your life as you wait for it to start again, but waiting never really helps a delay, not if you have something to do that could help move it along. Sometimes you can cause the delay

  3. there was a slight delay in her answer, but only because she was so young. at two years old, her communication skills are better than many that are older. it was amazing to see her process thoughts, and she listened even as she looked like she wasn’t paying attention. what an amazing child.

Because I can’t seem to recall what I meant to write, I keep pressing the refresh button to delay these 60 seconds from passing, as I craw through the empty space in my head to find those lost words. But then I decided why delay this any longer. Just write for the moment, because delaying never got me anywhere.

I think today will be a bit of a delay, for you see I have been drinking too much (as is expected for me being a college junior) and thus will spend my morning and afternoon and early evening sitting on the couch watching trashy tv and remembering funny things from the night before. oh the beauty of college.

  11. the delay of time is always running out. It doesnt really matter how long or how fast your delay is as long as you get there. There are all kinda of delays like a rain or snow delay. Most people dont go to class in the rain.

  18. It always sucks when there is a delay. You get stuck in an airport or something takes to long to get it. You have things to do and not enough time to do them in. i hate when things take longer than they should. Then my whole day is messed up.

  20. the act of waiting, of procrastinating. can be both negative and positive. often associated witht the negative but is a great excuse when you are late for work because of traffic. can be personfied and often feared. I hate “dealys”. what is a delay? it is something unwanted but unavoidable.

  21. Delays are pretty horrible, at least for me. I’ll having something all planned out in my head, and it seems pretty great. But then, a delay pops up, like a car accident down the road causing a slowdown in traffic, or some friend who is taking way too long to get ready. I have a friend that is a chronic delayer, Her name is Vanessa.

  22. Delayed is like being held back. when you can’t or wont do something. If you are on a flight then, if it is delayed, you can’t get on it because you have to wait a while. Then you are able to get on the flight later. Instead of getting on your flight at the correct flight at the correct time, you would have to wait until they would fix whatever the problem was. Then you could get on the flight.

  29. I don’t know. What does delay even mean? To stop? To halt? To slow time for just a moment in your life? Don’t delay. That’s a waste. That’s what I believe. If you delay, you might miss something really important. Don’t let yourself miss anything in your life, it’s really not worth it.

  32. Delay is to wait, to hesitate. It is also a difference in time between two events. I feel like if anything is delayed, then something went wrong. Nobody likes a delayed reaction, they always think something is wrong. Nobody likes a delayed flight. Bad word, we should get rid of it

  33. Why are so many flights delayed? It’s an effing annoyance that they’re always delayed due to “safety purposes”. What happened to the good ol’ days when you could just get on an airplane and go to where your going, regardless of how dangerous it was. If you were blown up, you were blown up. If not, you got where you were going much faster.

  37. Exactly what I did when I saw the word. Seemed like more of a command than a prompt. How do you do anything other than breathe after looking up and seing the word delay. NOT writing is a delay. NOT getting something down on the screen is a delay. So I guess I followed instructions

  40. Time is always being delayed. Who can stop it? No one. Time will forever go on, people being delayed from doing the things necessary in life. Love, family, prosperity. All of these things are delayed by frivolity. Such nonsense in the world makes everything slow down to phenomenal proportions.
