  2. It’s something yellow in the morning when you wake up and the apartment is glowing. The hardwood floors are soft and light under your feet. It’s something that you smile about with your eyes closed for a second, reliving some golden moment that you thought was gone forever but it seems as if it breathes again sometime, when you least expect it.

  15. I think about delight, it’s all about the summer evening of laying down in the hot sun and finally seeing the bartender coming over with a set of drinks on his platter. The taste of nice cooked steak, the barking of a dog whenever you come home from work, and kneel down to have him give you his kisses. The feeling of waking up in the morning filled with energy you didn’t know you have. It’s a great feeling, and doesn’t happen too often.

  30. the delight of being who/what you thought you could far surpasses the delight of much else. the delightful part of it all is that it proves what you knew to be true all along. that there is more. that you embody greatness. that you can tap in when necessary. that it is not the sky, but it is you, that is the limit. i delight in that.

  37. The feeling one has when doing something they want to do. It’s the feeling of coming home from work, between the daily grind and the responsibilities of home. For me delight is movies or a new highly acclaimed video game with nothing else to occupy my time but that wonderful fun and joy that brings me delight.
