  5. Destination: Unknown.

    Because my heart is reaching
for fingers that have always been waiting on me,
    and my mind is screaming
that I need to think it through.

What if it’s a sudden stop
waiting at the end of my fall?

What if all I get from this
is another long list of heartaches
and a photo album filled with the memories
I can’t make myself look through in later years?

    What if this destination
leads me straight back to hell
when I’ve given everything to just escape?

  14. I love to travel. There is nothing better than sitting in a car and waiting to see where you end up. But in travel, destination is only half of the excitement. The most exciting part is everything that happens along the way. The conversations, the memories made, the places stopped. Everything about the trip is the greatest part. Destination is only the reward of making it though the experience.

We live in a world that is in so many ways based on results. And as much as I wish it weren’t true – it matters where you wind up.
