  2. A destination is a place to go. A lot of times we travel without one. A destination is an unreal thing,if you think about it. Destine. Destine for something. For somewhere. For someone

    Melody
  3. is it really about the destination? i know that it isn’t because that’s what everybody says: it’s about the journey!! right? then perhaps we should get rid of the word destination completely. there won’t be destinations anymore, only stops on a longer journey. When you travel, there will be no destination; people will as “where will you be pausing this week” and you will answer “I don’t know yet, but I’ll let you know when I get there”

    I wonder.
This word is… Foggy, at best.
    Or for me, it is.
There are many places I want to be.
But if they’ll work out, who knows?
    Sometimes I wonder, I do.
    Agh, whatever.

The train keeps moving, and you have many chances to get off and make the trip your own, but you are always going SOMEWEHERE.

  14. What’s your destination?

The question startled me, I’d not thought of any particular place when I boarded the train…simply sat down and allowed my thoughts to settle into the cold oatmeal that was my brain.

    What’s your destination?

He repeated it, never losing patience, needing to mark his list with the newest passenger.

I sat a moment longer–actually, I sat longer than it has taken me to write this. I sat, waiting for the answer to leave my puzzled mouth.

    What’s your destination?

It came forth, borne on a sigh of fear– sanity…. that’s my destination.

(Written on my blackberry–while I wait in a hospital room)

  30. This is not a destination. It’s only a point of interest, and after I’ve spent enough time here, it’s time to leave. Where is the next stop? Will I ever find my true destination? Perhaps I will wander until I find that place where I willingly let my heart dwell forever.

  39. we all end up there, or do we? never really- what’s a destination in the end, if life exists without any ending but the final one? so is death the only real destination? yet we never really feel or experience death, just dying. so there really exists no ultimate destination. all life is in the traveling, in the experiencing.

  40. I arrive. The gun is locked and loaded. The dusty windows herald the presence of something old and possibly powerful. I’m ready though. I was born ready. Stepping up to the gargoyle gates, I crack my knuckles and smirk to myself. “It’s time to kick some zombie ass and chew beef jerky…and I’m all out of luck.”
