    “Uh, hi.” Here goes nothing.

    or turn
    or push

with the looks of an angel
    and the light, too.
who says I could have given you up?
or that I even could now?
you were a wonder in disguise
maybe a little too attached to it.
    you left me here,

    waiting here,
    unaltered from the touch
    from the sound
    any other feeling –
    unlike any other.

  20. When there is an emergency, you can dial 911. In the U.S. this number covers not only the police’s phone number, but also for firefighters and any kind of emergency. Another thing I think of about this word is that it is a soap brand. The smell is very sweet, but it leaves your skin dry.

  27. Dial? Like dial soap or like dialing a phone? It’s funny, I think they knew more than they let on when they were naming Dial soap… Soap to leave you clean and unfettered. Sometimes, Dial soap cleans you of the dirt that caked on your body, and sometimes, dialing the right number at the right time can clean you of the dirt that caked on your soul. Right?
