  1. Dislike.. Now that’s a strong word! It is so easy to have an opinion on something and close up our mind on a topic!! It is interesting how yesterday the word is just a simple word to help express, and now that I’m writing on it, it seems like a supra concept that can blck growth.. that is what this seems to me at the moment at least ;-)

  3. oftentimes generally a misconception of hatred it is mere distaste of something inadequate in your life. you do not need to like everything, you may dislike it but I’m sure you have many feelings about many things. Liking is better…liking?

  5. There’s not too many things I dislike. I guess I’m unlike most people in that respect… Or perhaps I simply have a distorted view of others, who seem to have a plethora of pet peeves and quirky things they dislike.

  12. I dislike the way I sit here trying to think up clever things. It isn’t natural for a man to stare at a keyboard and pretend interesting stuff is happening and typing it out for somebody to read. Then the page turns into a cannon and BOOM! there’s a ragged new window on the world.

  16. dislike is thrown by everyone on a whim, without much thought, withoug much reason. the first thing that comes into my mind when a person dislikes me is, was the root feeling fair? did the person think about his own thoughts, actions and emotions before he made that hasty desicion of disliking the person

  17. I dislike the word dislike. It’s too prententious. Let’s say what we really mean. “It’s icky!” “You’re mean!” “That tastes like old socks!” And best of all, “Ewwwwww!”

  22. It’s always unfair, when I look at them. Their eyes look right past all my qualities and straight into my failures.

They’re jerks because of it, and I hope that I’m right when I say they don’t know what I’m missing.

    And… I guess that’s the only part I really dislike…

  26. Dislike is only a state of mind. If your dislike someone, or even a thing, one could say that this is due solely to pessimism. One could also argue that dislike is due to dislikeable occurences in one’s lfe. Another could dislike the previous statement and then we would both simply have to agree to disagree on the terms of dislikability.

  27. i dislike it when people with those earphones walk up and expect you to acknowledge them. but alas i guess we all just have to accept each other.

  29. i dislike people who judge. it so stupid because who are you to judge. only god judges and is able too. we are judge when we die not when we are alive. those who do are myopic in viewing the world.if all of us living i this world do ot judge but instead view all people or living things as creations of god there will be peace in this world. this is of course an extreme view of the world but it is needed to illustrated th point i’am trying to convey in this world thats clouded by prejudices and discrimination. prejudices is just a feeling while discrimination is an action being carried out based on our prejudices.

  30. i dislike a lot of things like people but really i shouldn’t people can be really great and they can also suck which is why i dislike them. i also dislike guacamole which is also unfair because im scared to try it. Um, maybe we and by that i mean I, should be more discriminating in our dislikes…yeah.

  31. things that i dont like. For example waking up too early or bumping into someone I’ve already said bye to. Also, people with Body odor. I also dislike the word dislike since it is such a negative word. It deserves to feel how it makes others feel.

  32. I dislike not being able to confess my feelings. dislike links me to that immediately. perhaps its that time in my life that i feel that. I end here. dislike not having more to write.

  33. Dislike Is a tricky word fo me. You see, when one first reads the word in question, it instantly conjures of visions of our own individual dislikes. Now when I am confronted with that word, and am blindsided by what an impact it can have when thrust at you. When confronted by the word, I for one, was instantly flooded with instances of the dislike I have personally experienced. I was hit with the phastasmic memories of a relative getting under my skin, or a situation that seems mockingly insignificant, or things that just pissed me off. Upon the realization of what I”d been thinking of, just like a ave rolls back DOWN the sand as well. i was faced with guilty thoughts that demanded remorse. What is this within me that cries out the swan song of juxtaposition? Why does my brain throw these images, emotions, and, ultimately, repercussions at my tormented soul? It’s name is judgement. And its subjects fear for the sunset.

On the lighter side, I really enjoy a Hamm’s beer. Sometimes when you drink it, you can actually taste the clear blue waters its made out of. But, I DISLIKE the gas it gives you. Damn! After three of them babies you feel like Charlie and his grampa after they drank the lifting gas. Ah still,…you cant beat that beer for the world.

  35. Dislike is better than hate. Hate is such a strong and negative emotion to feel. PLus, hate is more of a stressor than dislike. Dislike is more mild than hate and usually denotes mild annoyance to the point of not wanting to do something, listen to something, or be around something.
