She thought she dropped her pen, unfortunately it wasn’t hers. It was the guy she sat next to – the one she’s been peculiarly staring at for the past minute. Why did he look so familiar?
“Loraine?” He asked.
She thought she’d never see him again, but there he was – her father.

From where she stands, the drop seems infinite. She can’t even see the bottom, the shadows have filled in the chasm so completely. She slips one shoe off and nudges it over the rim. It glides into the silent emptiness like a size-six prayer.
It was just a drop in the ocean but to me it meant the world, just one little smile before he left. It would be all I would have to remember him by. Now all I have are my dreams and memories.

i became water in a vat on fire with nowhere else to go but to drop out of the long metal drain down at the bottom. the liquid squiggle made me want to dance and sing about the glory of green because i realized i ended up a droplet in a stream.

I dropped the ball. I knew where I was supposed to go. What I was supposed to do. But down it all fell. Dropping piece by piece, plan by plan.

We spend so much time trying to avoid the drop that we miss how it could change us forever.
When we allow the worst scenario to be a possibility, we’re not afraid anymore. Wanting security and insecurity are the same thing. There’s a different way to live.

The drop was vertiginous and he felt beads of perspiration gathering on his brow, his heart rate accelerating and a slight vertigo taking hold of his soul. He’d never seen such a cleavage before.

Falling into the dark misty abyss. No moon or stars out tonight, just the invisible fingers of air tracing through my clothing and hair to tell me I’m dropping.

drop is an interesting one. it can mean so much. like i dropped out of school. talk about a mess up right there. it can mean something little like i dropped my pencil. completely harmless unless you pencil is a bomb. then again if it was a bomb you wouldn’t be able to say i dropped my pencil. you can drop a ball too. never a good thing in any sport to do. i would know. the really interesting thing is drop backwards though. pord. what kind of word could that be. maybe like some sort of food. that would be cool. lets go get some pord.

One time, I dropped egg in chicken noodle soup. I used to do that several times a week because I loved egg drop soup more than any other kind of soup. It was my favorite and I would make it everyday after school. I didn’t eat lunch at school then. Now, I do. Yay for egg drop soup! It saved me from hunger!
Alicia
i dropped the ball. i had to. you held it so long it became hot and old. i hated the ball now i had to kill it. the ball had become a thing that was a weeping sore between the two of us. so i dropped it and cried. the ball deflated and became a piece of dead animal hide on the floor.

Drip Drop Drop. The rain was pouring down on us like the head of a shower. It was almost peaceful the way the water felt against our entwined bodies. I had never felt more at peace than right now.

I felt us going up, up, and up. Suddenly, the doors open, giving me one last chance to look at California Adventures before I die. That’s when we drop. Down, down, down, and I am airborne.
