  1. Tear drops fall quietly. Down the small bumps and contours of his face. Down the angle that his chin and neck make…some escape down the bridge of his nose. The small, ebony haired boy holds the gun drops in his hands and he smiled, despite his tears. It was the first gift he’d ever gotten.

  2. Chocolate drops are my only hope.
    again and again, I go down the drain,
    and you won’t
    get down in the dust with me.
    So I eat,
    and I drink,
    and I waste my life away;
    smoking,
    lying,
    watching TV,
    and always eating…

  7. Thoughts drop like leaves from a tree, they reach the ground–the bottom of my mind where they find open air and they dissolve and are assimilated into the ground again. The essence of my thoughts are the nutrients that are absorbed into the roots of my mind where they form the building blocks of new thoughts. What a stupid analogy, not my best effort today.

Old age is what keeps the world going.

  16. the drops of rain just kept falling as the weather kept getting worse. I had to start running to get out from undwer all the drops of rain. Soon the wind puicked up and the drops kept getting larger and faster. I believe the weather report was right this time and we are on the verge of a hurricane. I have never seen drops this large except out of a faucet. The drops that were rain became mixed with little ice droplets in the form of hail. They began pelting and denting the vehicles parked along the street. It was time to find some shelter quick. But where? It was Sunday and everything was closed.
