When I think drops, I don’t think of rain drops or gum drops. The first thing that comes to my mind is drops you get in video games around a nice round of hording. While this may be a situation that is totally alien to some, this concept is part of my everyday activities. It’s part of who I am and just what I do. I’m a gamer
drops of rain fall. it’s been raining for days. too many to remember. if only it would stop. if only the sun would shine again.

It fell into my lap and I was speechless, utterly frozen and all over angry, as the tiny specks sunk themselves in and made a home in my memory.

She felt the drops on her cheeks and her eyelashes, and they spilled down to her chin. They were clean and invigorating, like nothing she’d ever felt before. But she’d never feel completely clean; never.

The snow turned to rain. I trudged behind a man in snow shoes, my own boots lacerating my heels. It was beautiful, though I could feel the water seeping through each of my layers, one at a time.

The drops fell off of her face and onto the picture of the man she loved that she grasped in her hand. She remembered his last words to her. The sound of his voice saying, “I love you” resonated through her mind. He had left three weeks ago to go fight in the war. He would never return. She sat there and cried as the rain poured down outside.

Falling on my head. Like batter through the sieve. Baking apple pie with my mother and letting those drops fall on my tongue. The saccharine sweet taste. I’m far from home right now. Nostalgia kicks in. Would like mother smoothing my hair back after difficult days.

dew drops dot the green bladed grass. summer is quickly approaching and all i can think about is dew drops early in the morning. they’ll be there when i walk out to greet the sunrise, and they’ll be there when i go out to talk with the moon. these dew drops dot my life like they dot the green bladed grass.

I think about rain drops and tear drops. Life has been a stuggle for me. My sister and best friend have both died. It makes it heard to see through the rain drops that constantly come from my eyes. I think about them all the time so I’m not surprised they are the first thing I thought about even just from the word drops.

The rain falls in drops from the sky to the ground. Drops, drops, more drops. All of them are going down. Each one has the same destiny; hitting the ground. The drops follow a path downwards to their end. They might stray, be blown about by the wind, but they all hit the ground.

I love you. So much that it’s hard to breathe when you kiss me. So much that even when I’m mad at you, I want to be around you. Enough to miss you, although you left my house two minutes ago. Your laugh makes me laugh, when you smile, I smile. There is no where I’d rather fall asleep than in your arms. I care about you, and you make me smile.

Drops falling all around, the hair covering her face. She feels…clean. For these drops can and will wash every sin that has ever happened away. Drops are a miracle, a miracle that is often searched for. She has found forgiveness. She is clean.

Rain drops softly hit the panes of glass outside the windows. The dark and brewing grey sky is somehow comforting and nostalgic. Cool rain drops of life are what I live for.

Rain fell onto Lily’s picture, sleeping in its cold silver frame, cascading in from the broken window, the product of another of Mary’s wild, seeminingly undending tantrums, and no one noticed, as they swept up the shards of glass that the raindrops looked like tears…
