My stomach dropped. Though we had been outlining the essay that was to be our final for a week, I had gotten nowhere on it. I swallowed and put my pen to paper, expecting nothing but failure.
However, that was not the case. My pen seemed to fly with a life of its own, spinning tales of far off places and adventures.

  24. Due.

We struggle to meet the due dates of those that we deem “important”, so much so that we don’t notice the passing due dates of those which are important.

Despite this, we still consider ourselves a success.

    make it count

She hesitantly got off the sidewalk and proceeded into the building, she walked through a maze of glass rooms. Until she came to his.
Each time she saw him, it scared her thoroughly again.
