  2. it iwas an old specila edition of the hearld and news. our local news paper, and i had failed to see something that should have caught my eye when it was published/? I had found it in an old trunk that my mother had, and the paper was probably only a few weeks old. I was shocked to find that

  3. The word edition reminds me of time. The latest edition. The first edition. It is new, it is old, it is whatever you may want it to be. It can be nostalgic or state-of-the-art. It is you.

    Sarah
  4. well one day i was looking for a book but i wasnt sure what edition of the book i needed so i spent about two hours researching it and found i was not even looking for the right book and I needed the first edition of the magic books

  5. We were so late. The edition was due to go to press, but still the words were not there. We had revised and revised, reviewed and rejected, but we were, painfully and dreadfully late. It had never happened before. Sean’s eyes were glazed. I watched as beads of sweat formed on his nose, trickling to the corners of his mouth in desperation. There was simply nowhere left for us to go.

  6. I have nothing to say on this subject. My mind is blank, as it has long been. Damn.

  7. the time I wanted to know the next part of the story, the edition was lost to me. Apparently the time of its publication did not and would not coincide with the timetable of reading that I had in my head. The author, unbelievably, had not written as much or as frequently as I had thought she would. So the characters had to die, temporarily, like old friends eliminated from my sight, until she saw fit to resurrect them again.

  8. Second Edition. of course it was second edition. i stared at my almost new calc book and struggled not to laugh. everything i owned was second edition. came from being a middle child. My clothes, my toys, sometimes it seemed, even my personality. and now this. one calc book, with a few smudges, one dog ear, it seemed to signify everything in my life that was second best. and i was done.

  9. What do you think your doing Matt , I see my brother browsing thru my romance
novels so he can make fun of what trite trivial edition he thinks it is but to me its
    sigh- wonderful.

    Linda Berryman
  10. It’s the latest edition, you know, the one with the gorgeous cover, with all the colors and pretty people and gold lettering and that? Yeah, I don’t know what everybody’s going on about either; the book itself is crap, really. But good for a laugh. Yes, I know you can’t judge a book by its cover. Seriously, though, I want to *frame* that cover. Tear it right off and hang it on my wall and squee at it.

  11. The edition of my book was a new and really primitive one. I liked it better than the last one, others had there opinion of it, but mine was the only one that mattered. People can say what they want, I like my writing.

    Emma
  12. This was the first edition of my favorite book, sitting in front of me. I debated between opening it and reading it immediately or keeping it in it’s package untouched. I sat at the table deliberating before finally ripping the brown wrapping apart and holding the book to my chest.

    Mandy

  14. Two faced. When i saw him it’s the first desription that came to my mind. I looked back down at the first edition of the Self- help book about people and their Characteristics and saw with irony I was in the Multiple personality section. But being two-faced doesn’t mean haveing two plus personalitys, it means having a part of you that you restrict or let out at different moments. It means letting people see only one side of you. Because of this, people never know who they really are.

  15. “This person’s all wrong…look at that, there’s defects everywhere.”
The doctor shook his head as he scrutinized the would-be human being in front of him. It was quite cold in the Assimilation Room. The metal operating tables seemed to dispell warmth as they held the half-baked life forms.

  16. “It was the new edition of me,” she had once said. “The new edition!” she exclaimed. “The version of me, he new… type of me!” The way she was babbling it out was almost as if she didn’t really.. /enjoy/ this new ‘edition’ of herself. But then why was there one in existence?

“I was hoping that.. you would like this new edition of me.

…so I changed. Just for.. you.”

  17. the new edition, sedition, of reality, created by our own self-loathing masked by self-love. are we in a newly invented reality with new technologies or is this just another edition of the same? we are endless.

    Cheyne
  18. Sitting at the breakfast table reading a new edition of the New York Times is always how I pictured the picturesque breakfast to go. It never happened. I don’t even eat breakfast.

  19. New york times. sedition. I have no idea what sedition means. That’s probably a word I could look up. I wish I could still buy older editions of book. Everything vintage just seems cooler. Like a first edition of on the road or Howl. I’d kill for that

  20. Edition. The act of editing. Correction of errors. Errors are a side effect of order. Errors only occur because there is a standard of what is and is not correct. Hence the delusion that homosexuality is wrong or unnatural. Humans only have this perception because they are conditioned to assume the notion that heterosexuality is the only naturally occurring pattern.

  21. The edition was new and shiny. Jen held it in her hands as she turned the pages. Her article was in here. The article on how she beat cancer and still remained happy, and sponsored her new book to promote self awarness to prevent skin cancer. Jen hoped this edition and book would help change people’s lives. If someone had told her to wear sunscreen she might be a different person today.

    Maggie

  31. I didn’t know this was the word I was supposed to write about. I waited a good fifteen seconds waiting for the actual word to pop up. I am not sure what to think of with this word. Therefore, I am actually not thinking about the word. Edition. Edition. It reminds me of buying college text books online for cheap, and coming short because it is the wrong edition.
