  1. an event of a lifetime, that is what I am always searcing for. THE event. the one event that will change everything. Somehow, it is not happening. Somehow, I am still waiting. Maybe that event happened and I just missed it. Maybe it is happening right now! I had better see what is going on away from here. Gotta go!

  2. an event is fun and full of friends, people, laughs, high spirits, drinks and memories. that’s what most of them should be about. We tend to forget that because our days are so full of stress and all we think about is ourselves. Let’s have events.

  3. There have been many events in my life. Some were dreadful bores, others were defining moments – these were of the unforgettable variety.

And when I meet someone, I’d like to say the first thing I think of is whether or not this person would play a role in an event I’m sure to always remember.

  4. I dream of a place far away that everyone wants to go. This place has a lot of color and your imagination runs away on a large white stallion, running through the trees. A sword in the night.

    Alan E.
  5. I had many events in life. I’m only 22 right now but, yes I have had an eventful life. Events are how we find ourselves. How we find others. How we make the world around us our own; through individual events.

Let us celebrate and appreciate each event in life with the eyes of a newborn or through the eyes of one who will never experience such again. This way we will find glory in everyday life.

  6. markable occurance that labels itself a “major happening” in our life, work putting in your calendar and making a point to attend, meet people here and share stories, could also refer to something you had no control over but the effects of which will never leave you.

  7. Event? Like what happened last night between me and my best friend. She means to much me…Or maybe event like what this weekend is. My little sister turning 12. All those goddamn giggling girls. Or maybe like what it’ll be when my grandparents finally see my new lip piercing…

  8. There are so many events that I have never been invited to. I’m not sure if I am just not putting myself out there enough. I would love to go to balls and dress up and spend time getting ready to socialize. I would love to schedule an event for my birthday. That is coming up soon. I can’t wait. Another year gone by out of my life. Oh, well.

  9. Events are things that people go to, are invited to, or gather at. Usually there is something to do at them, like listen to music or see a presentation. Events are

  10. the event i went to today was such a boring one, i had to sit and look at boring people sing in kannada twice with re takes and all and then i had to sit and watch the entire thing being edited which makes it a total of 5 times i watched it. It’s almost ridiculous how they call these events reality shows and expect us to be entertained bu it.

  11. There’s an event tomorrow, which is sponsored by the local PTA, that cannot and will not be attended by people that do not support the PTA or its causes. This event will have beverages, a small band, a non-Easter egg hunt, and 12 animals from the local zoo. Other that that, many surprises are in store.

    Brad Smith
  12. Events are unique in the sense that when they happen, they only happen like that once. Take advantage of every event you go to and remember them all, because everything is comprised of events, whether small or large.

    Emily Meissen
  13. event is more fun when made plural, so events. Events are pretty fun because they can be isolated or linked. I spent more time correcting my spelling then I did constructing these two sentences.

  15. It was Saturday. The bulls were snorting and the elephants were squealing. The crowd was roaring and the fights were about to erupt. Hundreds upon hundreds of animals…all about to be released at once to battle to the death…or just go to sleep.

  18. this was momentous, truly stupendous. a video crew should be here to capture the moment, really. she almost couldn’t believe, but she saw it with her own eyes, so she knew it to be true. oh, she should share the glee! but when she picked up her phone there was no one to call.

  19. Something to do with a party or going somewhere. Cinderella went to an event and then she lost her shoe. Some nice fellow decided “Hey, that’s a freakin weird glass shoe there.” Then he decided to go find someone who wore glass shoes (how DUMB is that?) He found her and happily ever after.

  21. so i had to travel to special event the other day…it was a gathering for my grandmother. She is turning 67 and a half on tuesday on we were have her party a week in advance. It’s really nice when your grandmother turns 67, mostly because the food is delicious at 67 year old’s birthday parties. My personal favorite is the cake.

  22. people. places. things. areas. a gathering of joy and greatness, or sorrow, or anything at all; just something to bring people together.

joining of hands. people. life. of course, during events, sometimes it leads to violence, but that’s just human too.

  23. Fanfare blazed and balloons rushed into the sky. The gypsies have arrived. They ride upon white horses and sing into the sky. The woman hands me spiced coffee. there are bells upon her hands. I am deeply in love with the woman in the red wigs, but she ducks between the people in the crown.

  24. The event is something big in your life – like something out of the ordinary…something “breaking the mold.” Something that everyone looks for. It’s different, it’s adventure, it’s what I want. I want to get away from it all – away from school, friends, family, people, EVERYONE. Just start a-new and live.
That’s what event means to me…

  25. an event is a series of consecuences, it’s a widely known fact that all events have secondary effects which have secondary effects and so forth. An event is something beatifull and fleeting, apreciate them.

  26. My lovely girlfriend and I just came back from playing bingo on our college campus. They had a stupid rule in place where even if you called bingo first, you had to run up to the stage to be considered for your prize. So, on my 21st birthday, my first memory will be of being pushed aside by someone into a chair over a 4 dollar basketball.

  28. A ballpark on a hot summers day. The Pirates are facing off against the Florida Marlins and it’s a company picnic. I’ve never seen most of these people in a social setting, despite having spent more time with them than my family. This was to be an event.

  30. An event is something exciting. If something is going to be an EVENT it means there’s really something going on. Otherwise it would be called a meeting, or an appointment. However, an event is not quite up to the qualifications of a celebration. Not THAT good. But still something to look forward to.

    Brizy
  31. Event is the equivalent of a milestone. It is has more to do with the social aspect of people. History is divided in terms of event.

  32. the word event makes me feel like i need to plan. if it was just hanging out or chilling it would be one thing, but event gives me anxiety like i need to make it special. it makes me feel inadequate really. I’m not so good with preparing for special events. why can’t we just hang out really?

  33. The place was a tent, I think I remember. A large big top, where the event took place. It was a sticky Sunday afternoon in San Antonio. So hot that the bottom of your shoes seemed to melt.

  38. Three words left her mouth alomst simultaneously, breaking out of the cage of her intellect as if torn from their lifelong homes. Edward wasn’t sure what she meant by it, but the effulgence of emotion was clear enough, and the wine had indeed been a bit strong.

  39. I wrote a pamphlet for the event and posted it all over the community. It worked great. From it and the other flyers, we had a great crowd out to the breakfast. A lot of money was raised for the church and a good social was had.
