  1. evidence is something that is always there to support you. it will help you when no one else is there to believe you. you should always rely on evidence but make sure they are credible first. you should not settle for doubtful evidence. evidence is everywhere… you just need to know where to look for it. it will not come to you. you should search for it. yes you should.

  2. What evidence do you have for your god? Stop. Don’t tell me that it’s faith or personal experience. Don’t tell me that it’s above and beyond rationale and science. If you want your god in my classroom, he’s got to pass the test. The burden on proof lies on those making a positive claim. That would be you. Keep your fairy tales out of my educational system and I’ll keep education out of your church.

It’s unfathomable that we can guess so well and persecute so effectively in this society. It’s just a sham, really. Saying all those things and letting people believe them, and letting people choose the fate of other people, like we really know! I don’t know. It doesn’t matter. I guess evidence is enough.

At least 15 years her senior and stuck in his old-fashioned, conservative ways. He didn’t let her out of the house without a chaperon. He apparently didn’t know it was 2008 and that sort of thinking was grounds for locking a man up.
