  7. Dora the Explorer was blasting on the TV. I was starting to think that this little baby, of whom I didn’t know the name, understood more Spanish than she did English. Her regular nanny only spoke to her in Spanish. I wish she had at least told me the baby’s name before she left for her final exam. I hoped i was going to be paid well for this. Rolling my eyes i handed the baby her bottle.

  9. my brain is drawing a blank. i’m so exhausted right now…i can’t even think. explore. what do i do with that? at some point i would have said it describes me to a t, as a child that is. now, with kids of my own, the thought of exploring anything makes me cringe slightly inside. what if i got lost? what if they go hurt? adventure is good, but kids change everything.

  37. When I was a kid, I loved exploring. I was lucky enough, as a kid who likes to explore, to live on a marsh, and have my very own island. Sometimes I can’t believe my parents gave me so much freedom.
