  7. The wardrobe was more grand a piece of furniture than Clare had ever seen before. The wood, all stained red in the way that made you think of living wood, that made you feel the heat of life under your fingertips when you touched it. And the brass fixtures, of course, carved with more delicacy than most of the fine jewelry pieces she saw around the necks of all the ladies of court. The more she took it in, the more Clare wanted to cry with the joy of her one persistent thought- this elegant thing belonged to her.

  11. Blue gray eyes soft and telling. A small rounded nose. Skin with such pallor that it almost appeared translucent. Her features were special and beautiful, even as I gazed down upon them on the cold morgue table. She died much to young, but she affected more people then most 80 year olds have. And now it was his task to make her truly shine for her last show.

away, day and night. a veil was lifting,
like a saint taking gulps of oxygen.
    she emerged slowly, a jumper
from the bottom of a waterfall,
    shaped her to be everything
    this world could ever want
    i should not have been
    surprised when she
    crumbled from the
    burden. i was the
    one who carved
    her fate in stone.

  20. The best features in a person aren’t normally not the one’s they think they have, they’re not usually the features they brag about, but the ones they keep to the most important people to them, the ones they hide. Because they’re a treasure

the features of the ocean’s waves rolling into the shore.

  23. His features were sharp, and angular. It felt strange underneath her fingers, completely different from the soft, rough faces that she was used to. Everything about him was sharp. It made her want to carefully trace every plane of his body. Were his muscles as defined to have corners, as well as his cheekbones and nose? Her grey eyes stared at her, and her own blue stared at him.

  24. Erika, with the blindness of a teenage girl, viewed her features as unremarkable. This didn’t bother her quite as much as it could have; it rather gave her a hobby in taking her ordinary appearance and making it into something worth looking at. It enlivened otherwise dull mornings with daily lessons in accentuating her good points, and as she grew older it became increasingly less clear whether she was growing more beautiful or simply more skilled at making herself seem so.

  25. The features of her face were clouded in grey lines and stormy brows, I didn’t know what hit me-on the inside, dazed. Falling back. “she’s leaving again!” I heard the face say with a side of alarm. In response came another voice, “she’ll come back”.

  26. The features of someone’s face determine texture of personality. Not really. I don’t know what I’m writing about….. Features are inherited. Along the line of inheritance, features are passed down from generation to generation. Facial features.

  27. The features of this child look much like her fathers but are animated and twinkling like her mothers. She has a gorgeous sister with a smile that could light a city. The features of this child include a dimple on her left cheek, that comes out when she really laughs. Warm brown eyes that have seen this world many times over and a smile that is the slightest bit crooked, but beams at almost every word.

  28. Features can make or break our self-esteem. Features may be small, but they can easily provide a massive amount of stress. One could become obsessed with something as trivial as the size of their ears, or a mark on their hand, that they believe such a imperfection is the cause of all their emotional grief.
We cannot get caught up in the imperfections of our features, but instead we must idle on what our features compliment. Those eyes you say are too big? They look beautiful behind the glasses you refuse to wear. That mark you constantly hide? You earned that mark in a courageous deed. Learn to look upon these imperfections with pride, for these very imperfections are what make you truly perfect.

  29. His features were beautiful. Everything about him was. His eyes were as blue as the ocean, and his smile was as bright as the sun. His voice was a sweet as milk chocolate but deep. Every time he smiles, I swear my heart skips a beat.

  30. There are features all around you. Some you may notice and some you may not. There are features on people. Features on nature. Features with other features about them. Features are what make people different. Without features we would all be the same.

  31. Features. Is it the specs of the newest gadget, or something as simple as the details of someone’s face? Or is it the newest movie playing in the movie theater? Everything has features, but what that actually means depends on how you look at the word.

  32. Some people have better facial features than others. Some people have small, squinty eyes, while others have large eyes. Some people have noses the size of a beak, while others have small noses.

  33. People have many favorable features. Some features could be eyes, personality, or even their nose if you would like to include that. Features make us who we are and can even reflect where we have been.

  34. “This new car features heated seats, a sun roof, and a v8 engine!”
“Cut! Great job Larry, people will love the new commercial. Now just to send it to corporate.”
