She spoke all of her words and watched them fly away, red spots against the distant pale sky. To her left was a scarecrow, the right, nothing but vast lands far past what her eyes could see.
“What are you doing here,” it seemed to ask her, “still, and afraid, and oh so lonely?”
“I don’t know,” she thought, crushing a ladybug beneath her boots.
There are so many fields that we can take in the future — be it in the sciences or humanities. The diversity of these fields are important for the society as a whole as it divides the labor, thus making everyone potentially productive.

a burst of green, i don’t know what it is but i know it will survive unscathed. i hope anyway, this bright expanse of nothing, this vast land of whistling grass. while the rest of us are squandered by the burning sun, the serenity of this plain preserved forever.
The fields were cherry trees. The trees were about 20 feet tall now since they were planted years ago. My favorite part in the summer were when we went to pick cherries. I was the best person at picking them. I would climb trees and get the cherries at the very top.
