  1. exam. but not really. those are over for now. at least in the literal sense. nothing is ever really final – that is something i learned well after my last final exam. the only final thing is death possibly – but i’m not even sure i know that is totally true. final is no fun.

  3. My finals in math are next week. But is anything really final? The darkness of night is not final, but nor is the light of day. Is love final? Is love even something that can be final. Perhaps hate is final, but love can always bloom and change like a rose bud in the summer heat. Which, by the way, is not final either.

  4. a final thing can be either bad or good, i’m not sure, but yeah if it’s final means there was something before it so it’s good or maybe bad i dont know im not sure erm times about to be done here i think… see, FINAL… another use for that word me thinks. errrmmmm… final, the opposite of start, final means the end but not necessaruily the end. yey.

  5. It was the final straw. For too long I’d ignored their words or simply shrugged them off, telling myself that they just didn’t understand. But it was more than that. They hated me and Nu and I wasn’t going to stand there and take it.

  10. “Final” arouses both trepidation/fear and excitement in me. As a perceiver (rather than a judgement-oriented person, on the Myers-Briggs personality test) I am more comfortable exploring options and being on the front end of a decision, rather than having that immutable feeling of something finalized, but then again there is that anticipatory excitement of knowing, for example, that it’s the final days of school before vacation, or the last final I have to study for, or the finals in an exciting competition on TV.

  11. the final stretch, the epic battle. the finale for a rather treacherous chapter. however, the final can lead to a sequel, or to a brighter beginning.

    but in our case, i hope we never have a final. that we will eternally be bond by the red string of fate, and even when we leave our worldly bodies, we will always be connected. my eight lives to your eight lives.

  13. I’m in a world so shaken up you’d think it was a snow globe. Most of the people around me are crying and hugging one another. Others are just standing there. Alone. Nothing could shake them out of their misery. Me? I’m calm, cool, collected. But then I see them. I lose everything. Tonight won’t be our last night together, everyone says. But deep inside, we know. It’s final.

  15. I have finals coming up in two months. They will be the last finals I will ever take. Am I nervous? Sort of, I really just need to pass them in order to graduate. I’m just excited to be done with school forever. Until grad school I guess, if I decide to go.

  27. I had the finals exam last year and I did advanced =} I am soooo proud of my self that I am willing to brag. A final is like a conclusion or the last thing. So last year I took my final(last) test and did AweSomE!!!!!!!!!

  30. Finals are kinda intimidating. They could be tests, like that big test the nerdy kids are afraid to fail, even though they’re the only ones that will pass. Or in sports it’s that last game or set of games that determines the best team in the league. Those things could be intimidating.

  31. The resolution was final. Avery had broken her ties with Aleksandr after being together for four beautiful years. Four years of peace and hope and a vision that the future wasn’t going to be full of shit were gone. Aleks stood by himself in the room overlooking a park on the North side of town. His gray eyes were glossy and dull. It seemed like four years of his life were just…wasted.

  35. Final. Such a final word. It sounds stupid, but the idea does have merit if you really think about it. Just the sound of the word speaks of something that is on the verge of ending or changing forever.

  40. The final time I went to the store I wondered what was going to happen when I stepped into the second aisle on the left. The crocodile jumped out and scared me, but then I realized it was just a person in a suit and not a real crocodile with scary teeth that could actually harm my pale white skin. When I walked past him I gave him a mean look, because, really, why should you scare people like this?
