warm, snuggling. The fireplace roars and cracks with resounding peace throughout the home. Especially in this season, the fireplace is a central piece in the living space. We gather around, listen and tell stories. Everyone together at last. It’s so nice being surround by people you love.

fire in the fireplace… no snow outside… christmas eve.
I love sitting by the fireplace. It’s so warm and cozy and fills my heart with joy. I love roasting marshmallows and making s’mores and stuff it’s just so exciting.
We were all in love. Not 16 year old chick all up in my 17 year old bidness. I’m talking we were contained by the warmth of the fire and the couches and the old stories. The disjointed jokes from little Eddy, and thoughts of Peter versus Brock.
The rule in our house was that after 6am, we could go downstairs and open our Christmas Stockings on our own, and that we were allowed to play with those toys until our parents woke up. – That was part of the deal. Let the parents keep sleeping!
I remember one year my stocking looked empty from a distance and I was so sad. Had I really been that bad? Had my parents really done that to me? When I took the stocking down I saw it actually *was* packed with gifts. It had just looked flat (not bulky) so I hadn’t been able to tell until I felt it.
I still remember that feeling though. Believing my parents had acted that way and deliberately left me an empty stocking. I didn’t put it past them. And yet, they hadn’t, and I had gifts that year after all.

I’ve never had a fireplace, I’ve never even seen one. Only in TV its a far off dream emotion. One day I’ll see one and curl up in its warmth, till then I’ll only dream of the fireplace.
Sam
A fireplace is made out of bricks sometimes, or wood, and you put a piece of wood in the inside of it and start it on fire and it warms u and your house.
Rebecah
There was a fireplace in the house where I grew up – it warmed the living room but it also warmed the bedroom adjacent to the living room. I often got to sleep in that bedroom as a very young child, curled up to the brick fireplace, cozy and warm.

A place where you discard all the babies you killed because your pedobear. Haters gonna hate bro’. Ps. You also raped the babies because they made you feel naughty. Pedobear pro.
Dont hate me bro
A fireplace in the left hand side of the room made my toes curl and my skin get goosebumps. Christmas didn’t bring back the best memories, and my breath grew short as I grew more terrified. I looked around, searching for clues I knew they’d take care not to leave.

we use fireplaces during the winter time to keep us warm. they are also seen alot in romance movies and comedies. sometimes people can die because of fire places. its really scary, i would hate to die because of fireplaces. but now they make fake ones that cant hurt you.

Sam looked into the fireplace, brushing her pale hair out of her face and smiling slightly over the mug of hot cocoa.
“How are you, Sam?” asked Sarah quietly. Sam glanced over to her new friend, letting the smile on her face grow as she realized how good she felt.
“Better, now.”
She looked over at Mark, who sat by the fireplace, watching her. Sam smiled as the firelight framed his face. He was beautiful, commoner or no.
The fireplace was just a pile of ash now, the glowing embers had long since faded in the cold night. There were no signs that anyone had been there: the blankets were carefully folded, the pillows neatly stacked, and the coffee table clear of the mugs that had sat on it the night before. It was morning now, the pale blue grey eyes of the world filtering through the sheer curtains. The red-orange-black heat, the shivering touch of skin beneath the fleece throw was reduced to a crystallized memory, clutched against her heart.

I love having a fire even if it smokes up the whole house. You need good smelling logs so you won’t walk around smelling like a bbq. A fireplace harkens back to times when families sat around telling stories and singing songs and communicated.

Sitting by the fire place on christmas with your significant other./ Drinking hot cocoa after a long day of playing in the snow and and sledding. Kissing by the fireplace. Keeping warm and happy. The smell of camp fire throughout the house.

The fireplace is the center of the home, the hogar! I love to sit in front of the fireplace, especially this time of year, and read and enjoy the silence and solitude. Most often though, there are lots of people and noise and laughter and that is okay too.
It was a cold and damp december night. the couple sat beside their fireplace and wondered where they were going to get the money to buy firewood. they didn’t have anything at all left in the house to burn in the fireplace. they had used all the paper, newspaper and other items…

the fireplace was just there. sitting there , looking at me like I’m supposed to do something about this. I ask it “why does it feel more cozy to be cold and in the dark?” My voice bounces off the stone tongue of the fireplace. Mister Fireplace I’m sorry i can’t light you. i don’t have enough light in me, not enough lightness in my feet not enough bounce in my hair. i can feed you wood and clean up the ashes in the corners of your mouth. But can’t let you warm me can’t let your rosy my cheeks. There are somethings i can’t offer a home
As we snuggled up on the couch, the fireplace started to crackle. Making a sound almost exactly the same as a firecracker. With the movie playing, we curled closer around each other.
I love sitting next to fireplaces in the winter. They are warm and pretty and I really like them. They give out heat and fire that is hot.

It was empty, barren, filled with black dust and ash of someone else’s memories. I began to sweep them out, and my mind was taken a hundred years back to the warmth of a fire and the glow of soft candles….

It’s illegal to have a fireplace in the city I live in, because it never gets that cold and so maybe the powers that be were thinking of the environment? It’s quite to nice to think of…usually we only hear the bad… Still, though, I would love to go far away where a fireplace is a lifeline and we can sit together, warming our toes: warm and comfortable, like those pretty little pictures, just for a little bit.
Today I got asked which room in my house I would most like to put a fireplace. I answered my living room. I feel like any other place would be a little silly.
A nice, cozy fire to cuddle up on the loveseat in front of.

As Harry stood at the Burrow’s fireplace, he heard Mrs Weasley rousing Ron. He smiled to himself before yelling, “Diagon Alley,” and stepping into the green flames.

The children gathered around the fireplace, chanting their incantations.
The flames grew higher and higher, as they anticipated the visitation of their jolly Christmas spirit. They’d be certain to burn the bastard that failed to bring them an X-Box last year.

It’s more than a place. It’s a sanctuary where hearts melt and souls become aware of each other. It’s a haven. It’s heaven.
warm, cozy, burning fire. a focal point in a room. can be decorative. A place to gather around and enjoy company.

Lying there. That’s it. And all we were, we were. All we are now, well I don’t know. I am me, but changed. I don’t know her. That is to say, I knew her but not any longer. Not who I am now. Not who I was.

My favorite season is Winter. The holiday cheer. The classic feel-good movies. Drinking hot chocolate and snuggled up warmly by the fireplace. It’s the best time of the year to me.
