  1. yesterday i burned everything that was supposed to mean something. what is anything if it doesn’t love you back? yesterday i bought sixteen pickles and i didn’t burn them because they, unlike them, love me.

  2. i like flags, they are fun, no scratch that, flags suck, they are all boring and who can actually remember flags? how many people actually know more than their own flag? canada, red, white, america, red, white, blue? what about the provinces, what about the rest of the world, what do flags even mean anymore!   5. The word flag bring about so many myriad emotions. For me it flashes the colours saffron, white and green, with a dash of blue. But sometimes also Red White & Blue.

    So even though I’m Indian by birth, my stay in America has changed the perception of the word “flag”.

    Personally I hate borders and flags and think they’re more ways to divide the human race.

    If I had to pick one flag it would be the white flag of peace.

  6. The flag is a very important thing, it represents each countries culture and history. They can be colorful and delightful with imagination. Most flags signify what the country believes in. Flags when grouped can be a pretty thing.

  8. The flag was introduced as a symbol for your rights. Your rights for partying! Yes, using a flag to party has arised in many countries such as Belarus and Holland over the past 40 years. It’s an interesting concept, a flag, partying. Who would have ever though? Next time you see a flag, think partying hard!

  11. Flags are interesting and are often a symbol to show country pride. They can be very provocative and also a great way to show children how to learn about diversity and respect. There is a lot of creativity in some flags, but also shows the ignorance of some people who can believe in something but know very little about it or understand that other people are following the same thing.

I mean, I understand that it symbolizes a country that was founded on freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, but I just don’t think we are that country anymore. We are declining so rapidly and no one is even batting an eye.

  22. there was this flag that my neighbors had and i didnt like it very much because they put lights on it because they said that to have the american flag up at night you needed to put lights on it, i dont even remember if it was their flag or just my nieghbors who said that. when i was in kindergarten i learned the song “yourea grand old flag” it was fun, that was the best part of kindergarten. before i moved away that sucked.

  23. Flag? Oh god, what the hell and I supposed to write? Patriotic stuff? Maybe. I think Japan’s flag is the coolest, and not just because it’s simple and not difficult to color when your teachers in kindergarden tell you you have to draw a pretty picture of your country’s flag just to make sure you remember what it is. Sure as hell is better then working your ass off on 50 stars.
