  25. Flavor is everything. Sometimes I go for salty, sometimes sweet. It’s always an adventure every time I cook. They say variety is the spice of life. But variety is the spice of cooking more than anything. It’s flavor that rules us, whether or not we admit it. To be bland is to be boring, and food is no exception. Always go for the full flavor!

  26. The flavor was interesting — tangy, but still sweet, with a heavy sort of overtone. Like the smell of a flowerbed after a good rain, with the earthy smell of sodden mulch perforated by the sweet, wet aromas of the flowers.

  39. It is a matter of taste. Flavor is pleasant to sone person and disgusting to another. Flavor is caused by taste buds on your tongue. Flavor can be thought of in a more mataphorical sense as the “essence.” of something. For instance, “the evening had the flavor of nostalgia as we renewed old acquaintances.” Lately, I have heard the term “wasting my flavor” which I believe means to take the fun out of something for another person. As, “don’t nag me while I’m watching football. You are “wasting my flavor.” Flavor in the absolute, though, just means ice cream and candy to me. The flavors of my youth that brought joy and excitement.
It is the thing we seek. The goal of life. It is “flavah.”
