It’s the only time they spend together, hunched over the card table, bathed in the florescent yellow light of their kitchen, thin fingers wrapped around colorful sheets of paper. They do not speak.
She hates her mother. She hates her more and more with each delicate fold, with each neat crease, with each additional crane set aside.
With 1000 paper cranes she will wish herself away. Anywhere but here.

Fold makes something look old. . .like books with turned over corner markers!

the paper folded over and over and I watched as Mike shoved the divorce papers into his satchel. “So thats it” I said. “yep” said Mike ” I will send the papers through and it will be official”

I creased the paper seven times and it stayed that way. This was supposed to be impossible – no sheet of paper would stay folded in half seven times, it would just be too thick.
This would be the greatest scientific invention of the 21st century, and it had happened nine years in.

Who knows what will become of this crease. Poor paper does not look as clean anymore because of this stupid wrinkle. Who’s bright idea was it to ruin a lovely white page with this stupid fold. People are not always that smart. Blegh haha

Papers folded up into notes, placed on the hood of his car. He smiles at the messages, because he knows what they are. A sign of love. A sign of friendship. Those notes are everything.

A fold in the paper, an idea, lost beneath the crease. Who know what hides beneath that fold, no one ever will, it is hidden forever.

I don’t like to fold my clothes, I just like to throw them in my room and let them wrinkle. They wrinkle when they’re folded, so what’s the point really? That or maybe I’m just lazy, cuz that seems to be how everybody is these days; straight up lazy.
Tessa
you make different sections in the paper. it can describe cell sequencing in folding of proteins. you can fold wallet. fold is spelled with four letters and has many different meanings. you fold blankets and clothes. i hate folding clothes at holister where i work. fold rhymes with bold and mold and sold and cold and rolled.

To entertain the little child, I taught him how to fold a napkin. We used the serviette. But just as I folded the first three parts, he got distracted by the other colourful shells in the room. He ran off and I was back to unfolding the napkin.

Fold laundry. Be in the fold. Folded things are neat and in their place. A sheepfold. Fold yourself in blankets. Fold an egg into the cake batter. Things are secure and in their place. Put away. Folded.

I fold the book tightly, hoping that I will never need to open it. But that’s a mirage: the fact that I will read it again and again scares me.

The fold in the valley was minute.
You really had to pay attention to sight the details..
Like the ants marching to work,
Or the snail carrying its home on its back.
Yes it was that small,
that insignificant.
That important.

many people fold things. Wheather it is a piece of paper or if it is a piece of laundry, folding is done in our day to day life.
I often HATE folding. I had to do the laundry all the time when i was little. It sucks. Bad.

you can fold a piece of paper a million ways. I’m pretty sure the most times you can fold one piece of paper is seven, but i’m not sure. Folding makes me think of oragami. Or laundry. I think I prefer oragami.

a paper seam that divides the world between the leprechauns and the goblins….while one fights the other to the depths of the earth they finally find that they have more in common than they thought. that one fold brought together the younglings then tore them apart. Roses stuffed between the center fold are burned unceremoniously at the church.

paper and origami is the intricate art made by simple or complicated patterns of folding thin paper. originally japanese, but now an art even a child can master.

Like the pages of wrinkled paper
upon itself
it binds all
and nothing at all.
It touches itself,
inward,
though it needs a catalyst to do so.
Or like warm batter,
it blends all parts into one.

When I get a piece of paper, I want to fold it. It is neat to try oragami. That is also hard for me to do.
For Thanksgiving, my mom had me fold the napkins.

i hate folding laundry. i think all kids should fold laundry. it will help them be responsible. it will help little boys become better husbands (for when their wife is sick and throwing up from pregnancy or food poisoning).
